EDIT: And it's also kind of interesting to see how the Chucklefish tweets related to Stardew Valley/Switch relates to this. The first teaser screenshot of SV/Switch was tweeted 1 day before the recording. The announcement that it has been sent to Nintendo for approval was tweeted 1 day before the Nindie Direct.
To be fair this does not mean much ... it only means the live action parts were recorded earlier. voice overs can be recorded later and "here is an exciting new game coming to switch" parts can be edited to anything later

I need to see something that I can't already buy on the PS Store for a fraction of the price. Whether it's an exclusive or a game that is 100% ideal for portable play, like a puzzle game or something.

I am setting my expectations to January 2018.
Steamworld dig 2 might surprise us though. It opened February Showcase, so I hope they are really close to launch it.

I already don't care and I was super hyped when they first announced it. I have way too many games to play now. If it's come out on Switch at the same time as other consoles I would have been there Day 1 as I was looking for games on Switch at that time. Now I'm having to hold off on getting games I want because there is so much out I want to play.
IS this really in the game? I can't wait for this to arrive at my door LOLOLOL.
The problem with Yooka-Laylee and Rime when they come out, they will be like $10 on every other platform and then $39 on Switch, at that point I would just wait for a price drop to get them

Well they got themselves in this situation.
I was really excited for both games. Rime I might get, but I have to see if anything else comes out in November. YL idk though. Nintendo fans were the ones who would've bought the game the most out of any fanbase, yet they're the ones getting it way later. I'll probably still buy it since I expect them to make sure the game is up to snuff.
