yea, if it is as good as I hope, I'll buy it just to add to my collection of the best NG games.I feel I should buy it. Will give it a go first to make sure I'm happy with the quality.
Smart Ill do the samethe 85gb is going to take a bit to install, so I just inserted my NGII disc and gonna play through it for a while (super upgraded NG+), so I'll have some fresh comparison material.

Ninja Gaiden II PinkOK EVEN WORSE NEWS!!!
They even further reduced the enemy count on screen
Now it's like 3 norm 4 max instead of 4 norm 6 max of Sigma 2
(and NG2 was like 8 norm 12 max)
black my ass
They should call this Sigma 2 Sigma
Does difficulty change anything regarding counts or just enemy rank?OK EVEN WORSE NEWS!!!

Not true. This game will make your average Souls stan cry so bad.
Wow three whole enemies, that's crazy

Also why the enemies have green eyes???
Not my gameplay btw
Does the team missions have the upgraded weapons already? You need to finish the chapter 1 to have access to the team missions.
Facts. The difference between Souls vs NG
Souls: When you go back after 1 year and start all over, you die exactly as many times as your first try
NG: When you go back after 10 years and start all over, you can still beat the game with both eyes closed

OK just tried the game and BAD NEWS!!
THIS IS NOT NINJA GAIDEN 2 BLACK
This is just Sigma 2 with new graphics and added gore
just as I predicted
Is it different at higher difficulties?
Waiting for more impressions before I lock in on this. There's way too many Sigma 2 with blood claims.
Definitive version of the NG games with harder and additional enemies if the OG Ninja Gaiden Black is anything to go by.I never played sigma either. Iam new to the series as a whole. Why should I prefer black?
Projectile mechanics are Sigma as are interactive elements that simply are in the final state. You can quote me on that.Straight from the boss:
Yasuda continued: "This version is crafted to satisfy both those who played the original and newcomers discovering it as a current-generation action game. We’ve meticulously incorporated some of the additions of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 while staying true to the challenge and feel of the original 360 version, including its signature gore and violence. We’ve also adjusted the weapon upgrade system to more align with the original release.”
So like I thought, based on the OG, but added some elements from Sigma. True to the challenge of the OG means it'll likely be harder than Sigma
If the weapon upgrade is like 2, I assume the damage will be higher in team missionsStraight from the boss:

Do you mean the bow???Projectile mechanics are Sigma. You can quote me on that.
If we can charge the bow, we are eating.
Seeing some chatter about this being just Sigma 2 with gore.
No thanks.
If it's like the original Sigma 2, I think that the upgrades are carried from from sp mode. So you need to upgrade them there first.Does the team missions have the upgraded weapons already?

Already in chapter 2, forgot how OP the true dragon sword is, killed the first boss in like 4 heavy hits lol.Smart Ill do the same
Can you change to the highest difficulty on the fly or is it unlocked via playthroughs?Already in chapter 2, forgot how OP the true dragon sword is, killed the first boss in like 4 heavy hits lol.
I'm replaying NG2, still downloading black. Can you change to the highest difficulty on the fly or is it unlocked via playthroughs?
