Nintendo needs to make Game Freak up their quality standard. All in all, Pokémon are still Nintendo games for the most part. And they're definitely in another league quality wise compared to Nintendo's output.

Unacceptable.

No release date. Two starters from the same region. Goddamn. Why?

The first legends game was awesome so I’m sure this one will be too, but not off to a great start.

This is the first time they officially debut Eternal Floelette in games.
Very weird starter choosing. 2 mons from the same gen, are they using AI to randomly choosing?

Also I didn't like the visuals. They seems to be using the same SV garbage visuals, which I find awfull.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Still looks ugly, they need to move away from Switch (not that I expect Switch 2 Pokemon to look great with these developers).

Pokemon games should look like this…

The Switch would melt with those graphics. Imo they should at least try to get on the same level of SMT:

The game looks cool and I'm excited to play it.

Graphically looks less terrible than Scarlett/Violet, but is clearly the same engine. At least Game Freak seems to have done some works on it.

Looks good to me, will be interested to see how the changes in the battle system work. Never played the original x y so not sure how much if a remake or re imagine this is.

Not sure a bland French city would be my choice of location, not would running around rooftops looking for Zygarde cells be my choice of a fun mechanic.

It boggles my mind why this dev team can't make graphics better then this. I didn't like the last game much since it looked like vomit and the "woah! I can throw a pokeball in the field!" angle didn't really amaze me like it seemed to amaze most people.

Whats more funnier is seeing pokemon fanboys thinking Switch 2 gonna solve all their problems, as if the problem here is not the software. Can't wait for them to launch Switch 2 and all the games looking and running great expect for Pokemon.

Wasn't Cyndaquil already their previous starter from Arceus?

I sure those three starters will have a variant evolution just like in Arceus.

I just don't get why two of the starters are from the same generation.
Yeah he was, I actually forgot about that despite playing. Arceus didn't land for me the way it did others.

It just feels weird having Chikorita and Totadile but not him. They were a pretty iconic trio for me when I was younger playing Crystal.

I was fine with the two Let’s Go games and SwSh because they at least had a pleasing style. Arceus was fun, and wasn’t too offensive looking, but it wasn’t great. Scarlet and Violet are just downright ugly from quality to style.

Going open world was a mistake because they have no idea how to actually not make it look like shit.

Agreed. Look at Xenoblade and Zelda. The hardware is not holding them back at all. On Switch 2 they will move from PS2 graphics to early PS3 graphics.

I'm sure this will be fun, but it actually looks worse than Legends Arceus somehow. Just way less visually compelling, and those hilariously flat building textures, christ.

I wish they had found a way to give this game a unique look, even if it was doomed to be a generation behind even other Switch titles.

meh, fuck legends. I want something traditional, I want routes, I want trainers.

Also, I want waifus. There's a serious lack of em here.

So they took legends, gave us megas and a new dodge mechanic.

You sons of bitches, I’m in.
Doubt it unless they come out with an enhanced edition a little later. Game Freak has a history of releasing a final game on prior hardware before fully jumping into the new generation.
They also have a tendency, as of late, to throw random shit from left field (like skipping the sw/sh special edition in favor of the next gen and legends or skipping the b/w remakes and going straight to x/y with legends za)

So who knows. Maybe theyll actually put in more than $5 and make an upport for the switch 2 or a next gen update of sorts
