At this point it is more than clear that Switch 2 is not going to surprise in its physical aspect, what I want to see now are GAMES, I want to see the quality that can bring this new Switch from the hand of the wizards of Nintendo.

And I think that's amazing. What I want from the Switch 2 is exactly what this shows off - a bigger screen, more raw power, and hopefully better battery life (or, at least not worse). Changing the "gimmick" means that a bunch of Switch 1 software wouldn't be compatible.

While I hope so, lets not count our chickens till they have hatched, this is Nintendo after all.

A more powerful switch is what I want as well, its going to be interesting as the need to balance the battery and heat management in a hand held state will probably determines the power if it.

Well for me it’s the triggers and the magnet looking detachable style joycons. The sticks are the same which is the most Nintendo thing ever too. Those 3 things have made me team real.

well thankfully they can be replaced by better alternatives.

as long as you stay away from Hori controllers you'll find cheap upgrades from the first party ones, and I bet it won't be much different for the Switch 2.

Hopefully 8bitdo will finally also make some. I always hoped for some Joycon replacements by them but it never happened.

I mean, not really. chinese controller makers will probably have superior replacements out within a month or so.

the last time I used actual first party joycons was literally 2 years ago. even the shittiest china low quality controllers are better.
which makes it that much more hilarious that the Hori Split Pad somehow manages to he worse than joycons

yeah, just look for joycons on amazon or something, and you'll find ergonomically shaped third party alternatives with full sized sticks
