All of the people nominated in that category are big Hollywood actors. So that's why he's not on there.

I think it has more to do with the actor/actress's complete visual profile along with their voice in the game.

I'm still curious as to why they felt the need to specify "human" though. It just seems silly.

During that censored Famitsu interview he said that there was one game that he really didn't want to show right now but would probably have to. That turned out to be Raiden.

I like how nobody gives a damn about the actual awards. Its just something that pads out the world premiere trailers that come out the next day.

Er, since when? IIRC, Ubi said a new Ghost Recon was coming next year (Ghost Recon: Predator if rating boards are to go by), but nothing about a new Rainbow Six. That'd be pretty awesome though, even if it'd be complete Tom Clancy overload.

You really do manage to get a very impressive amount of exclusive reveals for this thing. Hopefully they're a tad longer this year though. :p

Looking forward to the Reach trailer. The only thing that would make me happier is if they showed Bayonetta. It deserves the bump in sales.

Yes, a character by the name of "Mario" happens to be in the game Assassins Creed 2 around the time when Exio is leaving the first town the game takes place in (I forget the name of that city), but the guy he meets is Mario and introduces himself as such.

The guys at Ubisoft must have deliberately done that, lol.

Even though that's true, I thought the show was totally (unintentionally) hilarious last year, definately watching a stream of it while reading the GAF thread at the same time again. Epic lulz.

Fuck. I guess I have to watch this shitfest now. Halo Reach and (maybe) MvC3? God damnit....

When I picked up the GoW Collection yesterday, I saw posters for the MvC TE Stick. I assumed it was already out, since it was announced ages. But why would the release an MvC stick so late, after the XBLA/PSN release of MvC2? Methinks that MvC3 IS in development.

the problem with the reveals is the same problem GTTV ( and E3 for that matter) reveals have, a lot of them turn out to be 5 seconds of CG

Is anybody surprised with the lack of RE5? I know its nowhere NEAR as good as 4 but it still is one of, if not the biggest franchises to "real gamers". Not even a nominee for best action game? Does anybody know if RE4 was recognized in 2005? I totally forgot. Spike also pretty much ignored MGS4 last year outside of a few awards.

Too early in the year I guess.

Look, it's best to just forget about the actual award ceremony part of this. Those are always pointless anyway and all the awards will go to the same 5 games, which just so happen to be the 5 most hyped games that came out in the second half of the year.

I don't even know why people are interested in GOTY type lists. If you're hanging around NeoGAF you're already well aware of those really hyped games and are probably tired of hearing about them.

A milllion times more interesting list would be "Most underrated game of the year" or something.
