Robocop from the original film
or
Terminator 800 series with skin and all
give your reasons
Skynet probably didn't use money so a T800 is basically free, while can you imagine the medical bills for Robert Cop?
Well, in their respective movie universes Alex Murphy signed an organ donor agreement clause with the Detroit Police Department. Then OCP took over the precinct and took ownership of those organ donor waivers. Which gave them free body parts to work with.Licencing right to mass manufacture the T-800 with Arnold image rights would be massive, Peter Weller not so much.
Yeah, basically. Also OCP had to keep a steady supply of organic paste (baby food) around to feed Robocop. Plus they had to keep him plugged into a monitoring station when he was not 'on duty'. The T-800 doesn't require food or sleep.

In the Terminator universe (if you count Terminator 3) , in one of the deleted scenes Sgt. William Candy allowed the military to use his likeness for the molds of the T-800.
But it is hard to say how Skynet ended up with Arnold's design pre-Terminator 3 timeline.
In the real world, Arnold would cost a lot more for his likeness. OCP could just threaten Peter Weller that they would use Robert John Burke's likeness instead if he doesn't give into their offer.
So weird, I got a notification that you quoted my post in this thread.. I don't even have a post in this thread.

He has a shitload of protection around his actual brain. If somebody shot his jaw off it wouldn't matter too much. They could still feed him paste through his paste port. Why dont any enemies shoot Robocop in the face?

At least there is an explanation for it! I remember looking at this thread earlier, but was thinking "I didn't post in there.. did I? Huh!"That's because I am a bit stupid when it comes to mass quoting on these forums. I hit the "Insert Quotes..." button on the bottom of the thread reply thing, and it mass quoted a bunch of people from different threads. Like I quoted 8 different people by mistake. It's a bit odd how that 'insert quote' button stores old unused quotes from other threads. I didn't know that 'insert quotes' store old quotes from other threads and I did panic and edited + deleted them all.
Same reason enemies attack Jackie Chan one at a time! Why dont any enemies shoot Robocop in the face?

Get out of here, Dick Jones! In the Robocop movie, the Robocop project was supposed to be a faster and cheaper way to achieve OCP's aims.Robocop is a clunker, bruv.
Yeah, same here XDi got the same notification and was very confused
I feel that robocop still walks robot like where as the terminator had more fluid movement which would require more fine precision technology.Robocop because it of it requiring a human component, "resurrected" of all things, if we were any near to bring people back from the dead i am pretty sure wed all hear the news by now.
Fake skin and what is basically a robot are far more doable. I bet we could build one that passes the durability and the first glance test (without the AI functionality) today.
you mean T400Robocop is a clunker, bruv.
Yeah, I am sorry about that. It was a freak accident with the 'insert quotes' button. BTW. I had quotes stored in that thing from 2022. There's two ways to quote... one is to right click for a direct quote based on highlighted text, and the other is the "+quote" button, which stores complete thread quotes. Those two things use to throw me off. I think I had like less than a dozen old quotes from other threads stored in my 'insert quotes' field.i got the same notification and was very confused

Even if they did, it wouldn't really do much since his he has a metal head underneath the skin. Why dont any enemies shoot Robocop in the face?
