Also Tales of Vesperia, Star Ocean 4, The Last Remnant, Eternal Sonata…You also had Blue Dragon, Enchanted Arms, and Infinite Undiscovery.
XBox 360 really tried to get some JRPGs.
Star Ocean 4 and Tales of Vesperia have remasters on Steam. There are cheap keys for them. It's also a crime we don't have a remaster. Same for Blue Dragon.
Bah. I just found out that the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata is the better version. It has extra stuff.
Shit.
Hah. I found Eternal Sonata for $25 on eBay.
That is why it is good to get the Steam version of Vesperia. It's a Tales of Vesperia PS3 situation, the original game is complete, nothing was cut out. They just added more to the later PS3 release. You're getting the same story.
That is why it is good to get the Steam version of Vesperia.
the intro is the best moment in the game lolI have to flex here. Never played more than 1 hour of it lol but that intro is embedded in my brain

Sonic unleashed just got a pc port with 4k full 120fps. And with that came a decompiler, so just a matter of time for other 360 games to get pc ports

This for me was up there in terms of great jrpgs, just everything about it was spot on. I was sure it was going to get a sequel but here we are and nothing, just a crying shame because it was so deserving. I remember getting 1000/1000 in it and it's still one of my all time favorite and memorable games.
if I as a consumer have no access to MSRP pricing, it should not exist.
It used to be that official retailers/partners like Media Markt for example, always upheld MSRP pricing.
But no MSRP pricing does not exist. Not a single card released this year could be found even existing at MSRP here in Europe.
If consumer have no access to MSRP and not even a chance at access.... what's the point on advertising it?! Should be illegal.
Starting prices (so cheapest prices I personally saw available at for 1 nanosecond for cheapest, loudest ventus pos cards)
5080 - 4k$
5070ti - 950$
9070xt - 900$
I understand economy and demand/supply laws but this is clearly a controlled market.
Promote cards at MSRP. have a fictional model that is at msrp (never to be seen) and sell at crazy prices.
Then big uncle asks Lisa Sue at a dinner table to collaborate on AMD side too and do the same thing. It is all controlled.
Used to be, I was able to buy anything I wanted not only for msrp pricing but promotional pricing. Retailers had to fight over customers.
What happened now? Every single device/component/console released nowadays have to be hunted down for any price you can find it at.
The prices now not only are insane to begin with (msrp) but even that does not exist and everything is more expensive.
Not long ago, when 10XX cards were new, you were able to get them normally. No problem. Then crypto started in the middle of that generation and then covid few years later.
My point being - If customer is not able to EVER find advertised product for msrp pricing... there should be a legal body controlling that. Because they shouldn't get the privilege of advertising price X when in reality price X is not possible and even partners and biggest retailers sell for price X+50%....
If I, as a gamer, have no access to the advertised FPS, it should not exist.
It used to be that official benchmarks from reviewers, like Digital Foundry for example, always showed accurate FPS numbers.
But no, now advertised FPS does not exist. Not a single game released this year runs at the claimed "optimized" performance on my rig
If a gamer has no access to the FPS numbers and not even a chance at achieving them.. what's the point of advertising it?! Should be illegal
Starting FPS (so the highest FPS I personally saw available for 1 nanosecond while looking at the ground in an empty rom):
Cyberpunk 5099 - 144 FPS (drops to 27 FPS in combat)
Elden Scrolls VI - 120 FPS (in the main menu, but 40 FPS in the game)
Call of Duty: Yearly Scam Edition - 200 FPS (with 80% resolution scaling and all settings on low)
I understand hardware limitations and optimization challenges, but this is clearly a controlled performance market.
Promote a game at "Ultra 4K 120 FPS," have a fictional bechmark that reaches it (never to be seen in real gameplay), and then sell the game with broken optimization.
Then big uncle Nvidia asks Uncle Todd at a dinner table to collaborate on AMD side too and do the same thing. It is all controlled used to be, I was able to buy a game, tweak a few settings, and hit stable FPS with no issue. Devs had to optimize to compete for customers.
What happens now? Every single game/component/driver update has to be hunted down for stable performance at any settings you can find.
The FPS numbers now not only are inflated to begin with (advertised FPS) but even that does not exist, and everything runs worse than expected.
Not long ago, when GTX 10XX cards were new, games just worked. No problem. Then RTX happened, then up scaling, then frame generation, and now we have 15 layers of fake FPS
My point being, if the customer is not able to EVER achieve the advertised FPS without a NASA supercomputer.. there should be a legal body controlling that.
Because they shouldn’t get the privilege of advertising "smooth 120 FPS" when in reality, it’s "120 FPS in a cut scene and 48 FPS in the actual game."
Overrated trash game, tbh. People just were starving for Xbox's own Final Fantasy. This ain't it. Would play any of the modern FF titles, even the worst ones, over this title.
FF15 or FF16 are also acceptable names.
MS literally funded it to get sales in Japan. Same with Blue Dragon.Releasing these games exclusively on 360 was such a dumb move.
Sonic Unleashed is GOATED and I will not accept any slander!![]()
What a strange fucking choice lol. Thanks to whoever found how but Sonic unleashed in all the 360 lineup is such an odd choice.
Sonic fans be crazy like that.![]()

For preservation sure, but we don't usually wait 15-20 years after release to play games. Better sales means a successful Sakaguchi after Square. Who knows how many worth playing console RPG we lost due to 360 and Wii struggling to sell these gamesBetter than putting it on PS3. The games are available for sale right now and work on modern systems.
Someone with a PS5 only can't even play FFXIII right now.
