Here's a brand new look at Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, coming to Nintendo Switch March 20th.
They remastered a 10-year old game to make it look like... a 10-year-old game.
No Collector's Edition reveal.
YesWas that a new character and skell that transforms into a jet??

I think it's already announced since the first trailer? 60 bucksand news on the price?

They made a lot of improvements to the game, not just the visuals. Xenoblade X had many problems on the original release, and not many people bought it. I think it's a fair price.lol for a remaster? smh
This company is the definition of cash grab
No info so far, but there's an early purchase bonusThat's so cool.
I'm just puzzled as how come there haven't been a special edition announced yet?
I hope they're not releasing the exclusive item pack on the Nintendo online shop ffs

I agree it seems very untouched. But most fans are probably just happy it exists at all. Didn’t sound like they’d do a Switch port at all when they were asked questions about it in the early Switch days. They remastered a 10-year old game to make it look like... a 10-year-old game.
It seems they only focus on changing the character design, the unreadable UI, and restoring scrapped content. Those three were the top critics of the game.I agree it seems very untouched. Yeah, same. Really looking forward to this definitive edition.Since I never owned a Wii u, it'll be cool to play this for the first time.
You just described the entire concept of the switch. They remastered a 10-year old game to make it look like... a 10-year-old game.
Kinda, you're not the main character of the story, your background is unknown but you're some kind of super soldier, it's really Elma's story.Question, is X lighter on narrative and character focus than the main series?
There's like 20+ recruitable party members in the game and like 8 matter to the story at most but they're barely developed and the story is mid as fuck. Don't go in thinking you're getting some epic story. Also you have to play for like 40+ hours before you get the mechs.Question, is X lighter on narrative and character focus than the main series?
Why don't announce this game simultaneously with Switch 2 announcement?
The Switch 1 version occasionally doesn't look good.

It’s a 300 hour game. There’s so many examples of lame cash grabs it’s so odd to pick this one to complain about. If any remaster is worth $60, it’s this one.lol for a remaster? smh

Yes. They changed direction mid-development and switched to player avatar instead of a character like Shulk. The story is good but it’s more emphasis on exploration.Question, is X lighter on narrative and character focus than the main series?
