Anything that is a re-release of something old, on current gen hardware. Anything from the same game on modern resolutions to a proper re-make is accepted.

Let's make this an annual thread

I'm sticking with my answer from last year.

Xenosaga Trilogy -REMAKE-
Fold in story elements from Xenosaga The Animation, Pied Piper, I Reloaded, Freaks and Xenosaga I&II to give the most complete Saga game to date. Reworked gameplay of the engine from three (to make I and II less of a slog). Direct connection from Xenogears to Xenosaga. Standardized voice acting and character models. And the coup de grâce? New Ultimate Bosses including cameos from Xenoblade characters as well as a direct story link from Saga to Blade!

Spectrobes Trilogy
Xenoblade shows that a Wii Game can run perfectly well on 3DS, so let's run with that. Let's port S1-3 to 3DS Switch as Spectrobes Trilogy, and converting 1 and 2 to play like Origins. Since Disney is working more closely with Square Enix nowadays, let's have the development duties handed off to SE so they have use the Dream Drop Distance HD engine (which would be a nigh perfect fit).

Kingdom Hearts Re:χ[chi]
Four player co-op, mission structure, multiple costumes, create a character. Either pick one of the 11 different keyblade wielding styles that have been shown thus far or tie the wielding style to the keyblade itself. Big and unwieldy? Terra style. Two handed grip? Eraqus style. Short and speedy? Ven style. Two big blades? Valor style. Two light blades? Roxas style. Make the abilities item drops with a trading system. Let us pick classes too. So a mage would be play like Aqua, a tank would be like Terra and a DPS would be like Ventus. Make the mission structure like Days and give me the keyblade evolution of chi. Toss in some character trees to customize my character. For example, one tree leads to the ability to use drive forms, which you would have fight specific enemies to unlock (defeat X heartless with magic for Wisdom, X heartless with the keyblade for Valor, unlock Wisdom and Valor and defeat X enemies while used them to unlock Master, etc). One tree leads to keyblade transformations. One tree leads to limit breaks a la days. One tree leads to style changes. One leads to a redone overclock system. And you can switch between a KH1, KH2, and KH3D/BBS/re:coded magic systems. Story line is the plot of Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]/Unchained χ/Union X

I'll add that RK128's Persona Collection sounds pretty ace

Persona: The Wild Card Collection
- Contains Persona 3 FES, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 4 Arena Ultramax
- Persona 3 FES get's quality of life improvements from P4G and Female MC option
- All three games run at 60FPS and 1080p
- Bonus: Persona 3 Movies in English Subtitles included for Pre-Ordered versions

But I would want the Persona 2 Duology to get in there too. Still pretty top tier RPG.

If Gamecube VC is confirmed for Switch, Mario Sunshine and Kirby Air Ride. Honestly, I really want Sunshine 2 just so they can use the tech from Splatoon. Not gonna hold my breath though.

Id like DQ VIII on PS4. PS2 on PS4 would be ok.
I also would like P4G on ps4.
And Demons Souls would be cool too.

Ratchet Future Collection
Spyro Remake
Suikoden 3-5 Remaster
Puppeteer Encore Edition
Dragon Quest VIII remaster or PS2 Classic
FFVIII & FFIX re-release
Okami HD

Won't get any of these but a man can dream.

KOTOR 1&2, with redone animations and camera angles during in engine stuff to make it feel as cinematic now as it did then. Probably don't give it to BioWare though. Anyone but them honestly.

An official Streets of Rage: Remake release with online co-op.

Can't seem to find the thumbs up button here

Throwing in another vote for the Shenmue 1 and 2. Seems pretty possible too. Maybe not this e3, but I would be really surprised if that isn't out by Shenmue 3's release, though that is probably still years from happening.

I'm still holding out for a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster although I doubt EA will deliver the goods.

The recent Vanquish and Bayonetta PC ports would be welcome on console.

A Metal Gear Solid IV remaster would be cool as well.

Shenmue HD.

Slightly less optimistic it'll be this E3 now that we know there is no Shenmue 3 presence but it's possible.

Demon's Souls Remaster. It feels really relevant to put this game out, so many people have a PS4 now and didn't have a PS3, I'm sure they would love to play it.

If not that I'd love King's Field remakes!

Generally, I'm fine to play the original games on their original hardware. However remasters are potentially great for bringing a dead online game back.

A Phantasy Star Online remaster would be awesome. Ever since Schthack took the server down for months there's been no big population anywhere anymore.

At first I was like "Nothing, I want new freaking games", but then I thought about it for a second and I'd be pretty pumped if Xenoblade Chronicles X was ported to Switch with touched up graphics/improved lighting plus removing some of the more problematic things from the Wii U version, like the affinity system to do missions. Don't put grinding in the way of your content, please. >_<

I put 90 hours into that game and would probably put another 90 or so in if you put it out on Switch.

I also wouldn't be against a Suikoden Collection that has 1-5 Plus Tactics for $59.99. That'd be hype.

Then in light of that Mega Man Legacy Collection, it'd be dope to have a Mega Man Battle Network collection to play through on Switch for sure.
