True, raw data transfes have some wasted moments too, but in theory they always stick near the projected figure. Otherwise, with compression, it might vary wildly. But you are right, I'm going too much violently on Microsoft, they just failed to write to something like "up to 4.8" or "from 3 to 4.8", hell, compression might even push more in some cases. Actually not, Osiris said that he stick to his original prediction of PS5 12.4 vs 12 for XsX, he said that Sony might have achieved their target recently.

The frequency was ram frequency IIRC , which github pushers denied. Now however, I can see them saying that's what it was or claiming ms lowered clocks cause they had extra CUs.

How do people reconcile all the reports of Sony's BOM being less than MS's if the PS5 is supposed to be more powerful?

I want them to be roughly the same myself and will be happy if PS5 is within ~1 TF either direction, but don't quite understand how they'd do that and be 10% or more cheaper on BOM.

I see two numbers are possible for PS5 now, the raw 13.3TF Tommy said and if Sony's cooling solution is as good as is rumored, then they would have been able to push the PS5 to 15.05TF from 13.3TF (Tommy Still Wins)...I think I've always been an advocate for 32GB of Vram, we all know by now that Sony's memory and Storage will be faster as well as their RT solution...…...If they go 13.3TF, Id's say they will have 24GB of Vram, if they go 15.05TF, I'll say they will have 32GB....

Lets say PS5 really is somewhere between 11.6-13.3, does that throw a wrench in microsofts lock heart plan? Ps5 is no longer sandwhiched between the 2 but is closer to upper end model, wouldnt that make lock heart redundant at that point?

PS5 being close to XBX won't make people any more rich. If both consoles actually end up being 499 people who can't afford them simply won't buy them. But if there will be a 3rd option, like a 299-349 there is a chance they might be able to get it. I seriously think now that Sony's best bet would be 399-449 regardless if there will be Lockhart or not.

I'll admit that the only thing about that DS5 Pic which did not sit right is that MOW showed it . MOW does not share private information and he would not ask us if we think that something was real or not . So I am not entirely convinced that this was not a "Controlled" leak to get him banned without self banning.

Funny enough, I mentioned that idea with one of my previous posts. Like I said either Moriarty, Reiner, Klee, Matt, Osiris, even Tommy are all lying, giving y'all control leaks, being fed control leaks, or just have wrong information. Odium and Heisenberg are the primary guys who have given X the edge. However, they were adamant that the systems were close. And idea that's so many in this topic were against.

With this today, tommy has been validated on his Xbox series X information. I'm still skeptical on the PS5 information, it sounds too good to be true, but it definitely gives more validity to his previous statements.
