Maybe, but the review definitely mentioned 'modes' and I doubt they were talking about difficulty levels.
Just been on a Naughty Dog video binge watching Uncharted documentaries and Last of Us behind the scenes and I honestly honestly can't fathom how they can get such shit talk over a game that's just (again) been a critical hit. I will never never doubt Naughty Dog. They honestly give you the low down on how they make their games. And even though they recite time and time again how they make games they want to play (i love that mantra), I always feel like their games were made for me. In specific. The way they talk about their craft and explain why this mechanic is like this or why this is linear and here's the reason why it's paced like that - it makes sense. It makes sense because I'm not creating the game so I have no idea and reason to say how something should be in the game. Or what should have been. Or how the story should go. And the way I'm talking about them now seems to really bother some people. Look how many pages and threads Naughty Dog games get........ it's very telling. And come next Naughty Dog game, there'll be more ND controversy threads........and more doubt in Naughty Dog......and more scepticism. And it'll turn out they've made another amazingly crafted game. And we'll do this all over again.

The opposite for me, i thought the shooting was some of the meatiest in any tps ever made (same for the melee) but with a predictable cliche story with boring or annoying characters

Metacritic is a dishonest system, a lot of reviews are missing from other sites.
In the meantime it's still 96/100 on opencritic with more scores : 99 vs 92 reviews.
It was the same thing with god of war from 95 to 94 while it's still 95 on opencritic.

Did you have to keep the app opened in the background to use the games profiles? Or you just load the profile in the headphones and that's it?
I never understood this, do i need to open the app everytime and loading the profile or when you do it the first time it remains loaded until you change it with another profile?

The funny thing is that the majority of testers agree that 2nd game is better than the 1st tlou in all aspects.
so 9/10 for the 2 whereas they gave 10/10 to the first one, that means everything : no coherence

It basically loads a layout to your headphones. Think of it like the app loads it’s settings to your headphones. You can close the app after you load the profile you want.
You have to download the app regardless. There’s nothing bad about it. You don’t have to keep it open because it’ll close the moment you start a game.

That's like a 12/10 from most review holes - should've pushed the score up not down lol.
Why does the movement look the exact same where you crouch and can move backwards? I could excuse it for last gen but the gameplay looks garbage and I bet the AI is trash. I bet these reviews are just sjw reviews, I have a feeling this isn't a Terminator, Aliens, or X-men with great powerful iconic women. Instead it will be like the previous Star Wars trilogy "dont touch my hand" (because I'm a woman) it'll be a batwoman story that chooses to just throw relationship crap out to send a message instead of making a good story.
Just a warning that this game doesn't actually look good. The fact that they waisted time making sure blind people can play it makes me feel like you can beat this game in 2 days with no problem.

i already have the app, i just load the profile for a game every time i use the headphones, but it seems not necessary, thanks for the advice.

I always looked at that as a flawed system, specifically the user ratings. Putting a game to 0 just because you feel a certain way about it gives false readings and it doesn't help the reader understand your true, pros and cons about it.

Gotta accept that scoring is always relative to current expectations at the time of review, not absolute quality.
There is no conceivable way that it can work otherwise without every game's review score being continuously reevaluated and revised.

Eurogamer has a video out of a playthrough of TLOU2. Is it released in some regions? I very much doubt Sony or Neil would appreciate the first part of the game being available to see. I'm not looking at it!

No, you'll install the game on your Drive.

You install the 'Data' disc first and then use the Game Disc after installation. You won't need the Data disc again unless you delete the data off the HDD and have plans to reinstall in the future.
