He's right. Paid exclusivity is stupid and it's proving to be bad for third party developers as well (see Square Enix).
He is right you know?
He is right, but he didn't have the same sentiments for other exclusives. He's a fanboy.

Yeah doubt he gives a shit if it is skipping Xbox for a year.

He's talked about SH2 PC version quite a lot in DF directs. he knows the PC version is coming day one.

Hey, I know the ambassador program is done, but can you still get this message up to uncle Phil as well? Because, for the longest time, we've had these "not E3" press conferences from MS, where most of the third-party titles are "console launch exclusive". Which is, by definition, paid exclusivity.

Unless the only reason they are making it is because Sony is paying for the development, exclusivity is a stupid business decision. As long as they can recover the porting cost from sales it should be on every platform possible.

Doesn't take much for you clowns to show your cards. It's always the biggest fanboys that try to call others as much. Note that I didn't even mention Playstation or Xbox in my comment.

fwiw Xbox isn't even my primary platform and my favorite game of all time is The Last of Us Part II.

Very likely that this is the case.

Also this was literally known from minute 1, game had Steam and PSN pages but no Xbox page, how did he manage to mald about it today lol?

In the good old days pc wankers didnt even know what a console is or a console game. And they never cared. But now they need every big game to justify their investment or else they are stuck with cheap indie games for the rest of their existance.

Pc wanker are the worst port beggers of the century

Sorry for your poor taste in gaming (I mean the gameplay is solid, technical merits as well, but I do have issues with the narrative and pacing, none of which have anything to do with a golf club), but my point being, it's far from only Sony doing timed exclusives. MS has been doing it since forever, and yet only Sony gets called for it. Which I think is irritating.

I think he just doesn't like sony in general or he just doesn't associate them more unlike Microsoft.

Of course he has bias, everyone has bias. But I think at least he is pretty professional in his analysis related to sony hardwares.

The op making this thread exposing him as hypocrite is legitimate.

It depends. We don't know how much Sony paid for marketing, development, etc from any of these games.

Just because sales didn't meet expectations for publishers doesn't mean the games haven't been paid or haven't turned into profit.

We also don't know how much Sony contributed for Silent Hill 2's development.
