crytek and bethesda want you to keep buying a new PC , EPIC wants 3rd parties to license their engine to make ps4 games. Not rocket science.

Really glad to see Sony doing a game like this. Personally I love the art style, it reminds me of Astro Boy.

Yeah, this is what I got out of it. It looks crisp, had some heart to it, and seemed infused with that innocent childish wonder that gaming was founded on, for those of us who grew up with our Atari's, NES's, and Master Systems.

Japan Studio games are some of my favorite things on Sony Platforms for the past few years, I can generally enjoy just about anything they have their hands in, they've proven they know gameplay to me. That kind of promise mixed with a new level of graphics, has me decently happy.

Sure, I'd love to see something like Sly 4 ported to PS4, and taking advantage of it's power with a graphic engine like that, or to see what Cyber Connect 2 could pull off... but that doesn't mean I'll overlook something like this!

By far the game I'm looking forward to most, it looks like a lot of fun and the art style/graphics look incredible, my jaw dropped when I first saw it :D

Too many realistic looking games at the conference, wish we saw more cartoony games like this and Witness.

Knack was one of the most interesting titles they showed. Love the art style and the game mechanics are refreshingly new. Kudos to Sony for investing in this kind of niche games.
I'd rather get this than Killzone.

I am very interested in the game, I'm all for another old-school Action Adventure title. We don't get enough of those anymore.

Looks like Sony's version of a Lego game.

Not saying it's a good or bad thing, it's just what came to my mind.

Honestly, when I saw it, my first thought was that it looked like Kameo, which was a game I thoroughly enjoyed.

Either way, though, it's just nice to see something that is not an FPS.

At first it had potential based on the gorgeous Pixar-like CGI, but the gameplay was super lame...

It reminded me of the brawler stages from Sonic Unleashed.

I love character-based IP, so this was easily the best thing about the conference for me.

It alone wouldn't get me to buy a PS4, but I will probably buy it when I buy a PS4.

most impressed with the lighting and IQ on the human characters
but that MC....how'd it make it through SCEJ for "cute"?
helps me imagine how glorious R&C is gonna look though

I don't understand why people are excited for this. Seems very two dimensional. Character absorbs bits, gets bigger. He sheds them and gets smaller - gameplay changes accordingly. Maybe with enough special bits he can do special things (like go glass). He loses bits when he's hurt.

The graphics, gameplay and story all looked really shallow

I think this was a mistake to show this game off first, trailer didn't show much of anything nor did it really do a great job of showing how powerful the PS4 was unlike Killzone 4.

It has a nice artstyle, one that I feel Sony was right to use as one of it's reveal games. At times, it reminded me of The Wonderful 101. I guess it's because they look similar in visual style.

I'm not really digging the art style and the gameplay looked kind of weak, but I have faith - if anyone can make an awesome game, it's Japan Studio. Just check out some of the stuff they've developed/helped with:

Ape Escape 1-3
ICO
Shadow of the Colossus
Siren
Loco Roco
Patapon
Patchwork Heroes
Echochrome
Gravity Rush
Tokyo Jungle

Not to mention Puppeteer and Rain, both of which look pretty amazing.

Why Sony is making seemingly expensive family games for a $400 platform is beyond me.

True, I think I speak for everyone when I say I'd much rather see them make nothing but M-rated games and driving simulations. Who needs variety?
