I decided to make a hopefully definitive GIF showing the difference between 60 and 30 frames per second.

First swing was performed at 60, second swing was toggled back to 30.

As far as I know, there isn't a fix. GIF's that show frames for 1/100th of a second I believe get misread as 1/10th of a second and that's why it looks so laggy.

The quickest it can be is 0.02 seconds per frame. When it drops into 0.01 it lags.

Partial update !

So, you can save as a 120fps gif just fine and the gif itself works perfectly fine, but the actual issue is that no browsers support gifs showing with 0.01 length frames yet.

So the gifs are fine, the browsers are the issues.
