You do fucking realize this is the third time Suarez has bit an opposing player, right?
Yes I do, did you read my post?

I said he should be sanctioned, that kind of attitude is not acceptable. But I think there's more to it, I think the Uruguayan press will dig this up. Remember Zidane's headbutt.

The italian team is famous for this kind of tactic, and this is not new in football, and is not new concerning Suarez, because every football player in the world and their mothers know that you can get a stupid reaction from Suarez if you bother him enough.

It's Suarez fault for being immature and having childish reactions, but I think there is more to the story than the bite.

Racist, bitten two players since been on our team and literally begged to leave us at every transfers window.

He embarrasses us and tarnishes our 'sportmanship' like reputation.

Fuck him off for 50mil + Sanchez. Disgrace of a player.
He asked to leave just one transfer window, and we held firm. For the other five he has been at the club, he's been pretty okay. He hasn't forced a transfer yet, but Real Madrid and Barcelona are always going to be sniffing around the best players as the obnoxious cunts think it's their divine right to sign every top player.

I'm not going to start the racism thing, especially on a place as sensitive as GAF, but whilst what he did was wrong I don't think he is a racist.

I don't know about you, but Suarez being so crazy and his genius when he is on it endears me to him and alot of the Liverpool fans, although if I was an opposition fan I'd probably despise him. His passion when he plays, the nutmegs, the mad goals from the half-way line. Therefore I don't really care if he embarrasses Liverpool, as long as he plays as he does. You don't sell world-class players to take the moral highground.

Greece played well today, much better than Ivory Coast. Samaras was clearly tripped too for that penalty, so their progression to the knockout stages is well deserved.

Congrats GreeceGAF, let's just hope you guys put up a performance like that in your next game.

If Katsouranis doesnt play in defence Greece will go past Costa Rica, if he does then Greece is fucked. Also Gekas spand mitroglou should not be in starting squad.

Greece deserved to go through, they played better. Better defence and better chances.

Someone needs to be a hero and injure Katsouranis in training.

If Argentina doesn't win, I hope Colombia takes the WC, they've been by far my favourite team so far, shame that they are in the hardest quadrant now.

There is zero mitigating circumstances for bloody biting (wtf lol) someone.

You do realise that defenders and strikers wind each other up in every game of football ever don't you?

Or do you somehow think shit talking is an exclusive Italian tactic that no one else has discovered?

The USA need your support.

Will probably get it if they advance from group stage.

Brazil in KO rounds
J/k :p

Played too shitty. For the curse to work my heart has to be in it. Wasn't all too impressed by their game. Fred is an average striker, Oscar isn't getting the position he should be playing in and think Fernandinho should play instead of Paulinho. Ramires should be shot to the moon if possible.
The whole team shines or dies with Neymar's performance right now.

Netherlands. I want my Mexico vs. Costa Rica quarter finals match.

Done. Don't like Mexico's playstyle.

Mexico.
Reverse bad luck.

But I don't like Robben either. That's a hard one. Might go to penalties.

With a username like that I thought the choice was obvious. Germany.

I love the team, but I hate Löw and his lineups. 4 CBs? Götze in the starting 11? What is Khedira doing so far up front all the time? Lahm as DM? Where is Schweinsteiger? Bring Klose on the pitch!

Fuck you Löw!

WM "Fluch" only. At least that's what I hope.

There's probably more to the story to Suarez bite than what you saw. I mean, every player in the world knows that he gets riled easily, so it's probable that the italian defender pestered him through the whole match, little fouls, telling him things about his mother or sister, etc, to get a reaction like that and hopefully a red card (didn't work though). Remember Zidane's headbutt, italian players are not naive, and know this stuff too well.

That doesn't excuse Suarez and he should be sanctioned, but before calling people scum, I think we have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

In a match against Chile, in a qualification match, a chilean player grabbed Suarez by the balls in a corner kick, and Suarez reacted hitting him on the face, which resulted in Suarez's expulsion. Later images showed what really happened.

And obviously, Suarez is very known in the world, so every player knows that if you get him infuriated enough, you'll get a stupid reaction like that.

You're right, just let him play in the next round. I'm sure he learned his lesson..

Just because there is contact doesn't mean instant foul. This is football, it's bound to have some contact between the players.
Intent (malice) and intensity are factors to decide if it is foul or not.

Its a clear penality, its one of the oldest tricks. You touch your opponents foot lightly, this causes it to slightly change it course; enough to make your opponent trip. It works nearly every time, and since the touch is so suttle most refs don't notice.

Yeah, boys will be boys and all that. These damn Italians kinda deserve to be bitten. And raped too, what's with these shorts? They asking for it!

So you quote and don't read. Fantastic.
Sadly I did and it's rubbish.

I don't want to be cliche here but I disagree.

He is a great player, but at what cost?

Also, just realised the odds on England not to win a single group game was 4:1

Easy money.....

If Suarez were to be banned, when would we hear about it?
Prob soon. For sure before the next game they play.

But I'm not sure of the rules regarding possible appeals.

If a player appeals do they still get to play pending the appeal process completing? So kind of delaying the inevitable and allowing him to play next game? I think they do this in baseball but not clear on situations like this in football.

That performance reminded something of 2004 ten years after. Great performance tonight. I see us as being competitive against goodish teams (without Katsouranis) but teams like Colombia and better is another issue.

It is important to note that this was great refereeing, quite possibly the best in the tournament and lesser referees might not have given the penalty. The referee was almost completly flawless.

Also for fucks sake Santos don't start or use Katsouranis, the player should be retired and the much better younger Greek players like Andreas Samaris should play.

Why isn't there a Star Wars RPG? And wouldn't James Bond make for a pretty good FPS?

For real. If they ended up 2nd in their Group I could have seen them go all the way to the Final. Definitely one of the most entertaining teams so far with a future Superstar in James Rodriguez.

I just hope Pekerman finally starts Martinez instead of Teofilo

Another one that doesn't read. I'll make it easy for you.

Suarez should be sanctioned for the bite, it's 100% his fault, was a stupid reaction, a childish behaviour and I hope he doesn't play another match in the WC and be sanctioned with at least 10 games.

Got it??? No mitigation of nothing there.

Thank you.

Having said that, I'm absolutely sure that it wasn't a random reaction, AT ALL, I think that if we scrutinize the match, we will find the italian player probably doing little fouls, and speaking a lot to Suarez. Suarez is an immature player, and you can get that kind of reaction from him, so players will want to get that kind of reaction, because it will probably result in an expulsion (didn't happen today, but if the referee saw that, it would have been a sure red card).

Do you get what I'm saying or not??
