Sadly we can't see the performance, because there is no fps counter, but of couse without ray tracing the puddles are horrible, but games it looks like runs better...Please be optimized, please be optimized! My 7900xt will be killed by raytracing but the difference on/off is staggering!!!! I can't play without it!

Puzzle were difficult in the original at high difficulty settting for the puzzle, here there should be even more, so we have to wait and see, but generally yes it's heavier than re2 in my opinion.

Every room in RE2 had a damn puzzle, like, damn, how many times is that door gonna be locked? Lion statue this, chess puzzle that, it was literally a puzzle game. Needless padding, god bless TLOU 2 for letting me skip them.

Also you cant interact with telescope at the observation deck ;/

The whole intro until the apartments are 6 hours of game! If i run in the original i can get to the apartment in minutes! It's much longer the remake! Sadly i don't remember any charisma from this face except his eternal paralysis...

The truth is that the original is too old for today standard, characters looks like puppets today, but it's a ps2 game so it's right that it's in this way. 23 years it's a lot of time....

I missed that! So i'm screwed even for 40 fps with everything maxed out with raytracing with my 7900xt nitro+ if someone don't do a mod for frame generation! Ahhhhhh

Oh i missed that! But for my 7900xt it's terrible, what kind of settings for 70-80 fps ? Surely not native! I mean i can play it at 40 fps stable all maxed out, with fs3 set to quality. If a mod will implement the frame gen it's easy doable! Crossed fingers! And thank you for your reply!

Lumed is used for the ambient occlusion in the 30 fps. The reflections in the pc footage without raytracing are...terrible...at least for me and i guess these will be similar on ps5 in the 60 fps mode! Considering the performance of the raytracing on the pro i hope so!

you can find these information in the digital foundry small preview of the game played on the august event. Plus other sites wrote about these differences if i remember correctly. Maybe even blooper on their twitter ? I'm not sure, however the two modes are confirmed by digital foundry!

According to the topic on reddit, it looks like konami paid this streamer to stream the game, the only one in Europe, not the full game, just up the apartments!
