I wouldn't have been able to play it until tuesday ~8pm anyway after the routine with kids so for me it doesn't change a thing. Sucks for those who have to wait during their gaming peak times though, Europe I guess?

6PM GMT seems like a great time tbh, you just got back from work and now can spend 90 minutes creating the perfect masculine female character with broad shoulders 😇

Are you gonna keep the godlike features on or off?

The godlike feature is that stupid one that makes your face look like a damn coral reef.

No idea WHY TF they went that route.

Oh yea, I'm going with full mushroom mask where you don't even see the eyes

What’s even more ridiculous is the character creation giving you options to customize your coral reef-looking head ass. Someone actually spent time designing options 99% of gamers will never use.

Just like BG3 where everyone went into a fantasy as John Doe, the most generic dude possible 🤷‍♂️

It's kinda true, most people just do the defaults.

Games have gotten much better about it but if y'all remember back in the Mass Effect days, the default MC always had 10x more detail than anything you would be able to make with the creator.

Alpha Protocol's creator was more limited but it had some amazing beard options.

Does this have a character creator sharing system or something like that?

So you can share your created ones with others.

13 hours in, still in the first area.
Man the exploration in this is crazy, there are loot and chests etc everywhere. I'm kind of getting addicted just climbing buildings and stuff trying to find loot. I dont really get people saying they are struggling to upgrade due to lack od ingrediants. Just do some exploring, then break down weapns and stuff you dont want.

Also the first city, if you go to the left of the city (leftas in looking out to the sea from the city) on the coast, there are a ton of bandit camps, and some shipwreck peopel that attack you but they have TONS of loot, some real good stuff too like named weapons and armour. It can be tough but well worth taking them all out due to the amount of loot and unique items you can get.

Loving this game. Def scratches my Elder Scrolls itch.

Review sites like IGN & Gamespot showing that they didn't take time to play it. I would LOVE to see their playtime, it must be shit. When they say there's a lack of upgrades and crafting materials its because they rushed through it. The game will punish you if you rush. I'm 100% certain of it.

Unless there is nothing to do in the other areas of the main map, even the devs '30-50 hours' estimate will be well out.
I couldnt believe how small the staring area is when you look at the full map (i'd guess like 10% tops) and yet i'm 13 hours in with a ton of side quests, and main quests still to do here.
Dont get me wrong not everyone will be exploring as much as i have probably, but its well worth doing it for the loot.

Yeah. Watching some streamers play they found some equipment I missed in Dawnshore. I thought I was very thorough too. Took me 16 hours to leave Dawnshore.

Looks very thorough, Thanks for this :)
First thing is to disable enemy hp bars and the damage numbers, can't see here the option to disable hp bars, hopefully there is one, can't still sleep at night knowing Bioshock and Bioshock 2 didn't had an option to disable the huge hp bars, fucking most disturbing thing i hate them.:messenger_grinning_smiling:

You can "toggle" it off, but they wanted to tell you a story about a certain godlike that was touched by a certain god.

I wish our god was Wael.

I got a fire sword and a fine bow. Had to spend 3,600 gold for the bow. Definitely worth it. I’m into the second big area. So far it’s been pretty good. The writing has bits and pieces of interesting stuff going on, but sitting through long conversations is still tough to do. Like those dream sequences, just let me sleep.

I decided to play it. I hesitated because this time of year I'm typically not in an RPG mood because in the winter I'm too lazy and impatient to read dialogue. And a lot of the reviews say the dialogue just goes on and on and on. I found a balance and what I've been doing is following the dialogue to the main quest and just skipping all of it for the side quests. So I can focus on gameplay without too hurting the pacing too much.
