Cdkeys already had the code available. Started the preload on Xbox App. I wonder if I'm better off downloading it on Battle.net.

Is it lack of theme or does it just seem out of place or annoying/distracting?
I will have to wait to hear it during gameplay and not while a previewer is gabbing away drowning it out.

Just wait a few more days, I'm not getting the upgrade for this, unlike Starfield, there's no tied DLC or expansion this time. I can wait a few more days for mostly cosmetic stuff.

Eh, I’d take it with a grain of salt.
SkillUp, who HATED Veilguard, was very positive on Avowed in his impressions video a few weeks back.
Always remember hating on stuff gets you 3x the views/engagement on YT.

It is supposed to be release date delivery. We will see how it goes.
Gamestop and Best Buy seem to be more reliable when doing this.

The fuck? and to think there were rumours a few months ago that it might be locked to 30fps, and now performance mode is 1800p? sound great on paper.. hopefully it's looks and runs good.

I reckon all modes are using UE5's TSR up-scaling and not native.
I don't think a single console game released this gen has 1800p native UE5 at 60fps.

FYI, the game does not continue after beating the narrative but you are given a point of no return.
So side quests etc will need to be finished before going to the end-game.

I love these days how a point of praise is "the product is delivered without major faults". Like so many games are so broken on launch it's a miracle to get something that isn't bugged to hell.
Will be interesting to see if this is better gameplay wise than Veilguard, probably the writing will be better but that's not saying much.

Think I'm going to focus on great axes. Wanted to dual wield but losing out on the ability to block/parry is too much of a loss.

Cohhcarnage is playing the game and he seems to like it so far after an hour or so. He says the combat feels really good.
