Not true. Captain America almost moved the hammer. And Scarlet Witch was hot. I'm sure if I try hard enough I can think of at least 3 more redeeming qualities, but I'm lazy. 2 is already more than 0.

I like the Hulkbuster fight.

Vision was pretty cool.

Thought the conversations the team had (Bruce/Natasha, Bruce/Tony, Tony/Steve) were well done.

Two of those Nolan films came out before the Marvel universe was a thing! Stuff has changed since 2008, and people's perceptions of the superhero genre in general shifted a lot after Avengers came out. In 2012 when TDKR was released it did get called out for being plodding and messy when compared to the competition - it got a good score in the end at least partially because Nolan is a more capable, well-liked director than Snyder and the movie was riding off of a lot of goodwill from The Dark Knight.

Or, and get this because it's a pretty wild idea, it could be that it was actually a good movie.

Why are strippers at the U.N. bad when they're great at strip clubs???

BVS is now officially worse than Divergent - Lionsgate about to issue a press release as we speak.

Less then 24 hrs till my session starts, Im skeptical on the reviews because they could be marking it against the Marvel films [Im also in the camp where all the marvel films have gone down hill in the sequels] and because it doesnt fit in the Marvel Cookie cutter it gets marked harder.

Im hoping they have fixed the issues i had with how they made characters like Lois being all over the place and Clark not even existing for years in MoS.

I still think im going to like it. even if it is disappointing the marvel fans will still be salty if it makes the projected box office.

Are we considering the 100 % true theory that Zack was a spy sent in by Feige to sabotage DC?

No? I'm just crazy you say? Well fuck you then pal.

Age of Ultron is a lot of fun, well-executed Marvel-y stuff, wrapped together in an incredibly exhausting, unsatisfactory manner. It lacks tightness and focus. Shame, could have handily eclipsed the original otherwise.

Not sure how Thor 2 got dragged into this thread, but that is the only Marvel movie that left me with a completely "meh" feeling after I saw it

Really do think Man of Steel deserves a higher RT score than Thor 2 if only for the priceless discussion it continues to stir up three goddamn years after its release

Ant-Man.

Say whatever you want about Paul Rudd and the humor that movie is basically Iron Man.
Uh... Not really?

Like they're obviously similar being origin stories of technology-based superheroes, and both have similar villains, but beyond that I can't really say they're the same movie.
