The thing is that these are likely arcade ports without the meaty content you enjoyed.

I am half certain all of these titles run on Naomi 2 and Atomiswave Arcade Systems. Rival Schools is Capcom System 16 (Arcade-only PS1 Pro) compatible most likely.

Its almost all Naomi. Even SF Alpha 3 Upper.

Plasma Sword runs on the same hardware as Rival Schools IIRC. But it had a Dreamcast port too.

The only thing that bothers me more than this not coming to Xbox is watching Xbox social media accounts hyping up the indie garbage they're pushing. How are they are this out of touch with what gamers want? How do they even have jobs still?

3D emulation on consoles? Hopefully they can iron out the kinks and the games like Power Stone aren't too laggy on Switch and PlayStation. PC should be okay.

Capcom, good on you for monetizing your back catalog in a responsible consumer-friendly way.

I'm looking at you, stupid Nintendo Switch Online.

Probably the best Capcom Collection yet.
Unreal.

But someone tell me why the ef this is not on Xbox.

What diference are both?
Project Justice is the sequel and has three man teams instead of two. It's the one played competively and since none of the major bonus content from the home releases is included it makes more sense. Considering how censorship happy Capcom is with this collection the first game probably wouldn't be worth it anyway even if they did include the visual novel mode from the first game

I never imagined I’d see Power Stone and Project Justice brought back by Capcom, even if just in a collection. I had a big smile when I saw it!

They should have just called it "Power Stone with online".

Anyways, pretty hype, hope we get some games going on GAF.

This collection wouldve been a dream come true a couple years back. I will await the release and see what exactly got censored before getting my hopes up

What's the censorship stuff being mentioned?
Some of the midnight bliss transformations have been removed from Fighting Jam, several stages across multiple games(CVS1/SFA3/Plasma Sword) are being altered as is ending artwork from Project Justice, Plasma Sword, and Power Stone. They pulled similar shit in the first collection but not to this degree.

Whats your opinión of Capcom Fighting Evolution
It's a great idea marred by terrible production values. I personally still enjoy playing it and think it's better than people give it credit far but it really is an ugly mess and it doesn't play nearly as tight as it should which exacerbates the cheap feeling that runs through it.

Upper is kinda weird.

No CC means no infinite, but CC is an very interesting mechanic.
And they didn't add the others chars from Z3 Max or the GBA chars (Maki, Yun, Eagle...)

I wish they would release Hyper SFA 3 honestly, that game was so dope !
And why won't they just add stages from others games and let us select them WITH the associated music ?
You can do that on fightcade but ony with the character music you picked. I need "BEHIND YOU" (Birdie music) all the time :messenger_tears_of_joy:

They really need to make one definitive version of their classics :

SF Alpha :

- Select which system of the game you want to play first (A3 or A3 Upper) AND allow or not the different versions of characters like in Hyper SF2
- Select CC on or off (or ideally, make a new version where CC is ON but no more infinite with a number of air hit limiter)
- All the characters from all versions (or at least all doable because resolution of specific version might be weird)
- Stage select and music are independant, and add favorites so you don't have to select it every time
- Import all stages and music from previous episodes within the series (SFA1 & 2)
- Gallery and all the things we already have in this compilation (training with hurtboxes and hitboxes)

SF3 :

- Same as Alpha but keep the 3.3 system.

Since Capcom released Re-Engine and Resident Evil 7, it's like seeing the Phoenix resurrected.

Rival school in the first time in a Nintendo console!!! Wow!!!

I like this idea on paper. One of my complaints about Vampire collection was that there is no definitive version of Vampire Savior. The console versions had all characters that did not fit on the ROM. So I was juggling between the revisions to play as certain characters online. And this likely also fragments the playerbase.

In practice I suspect Capcom is simply emulating the Naomi ROMs of SFA3U etc. Though they do seem to have enhanced features.
