Time to leave the country.

Is he centrist? Center left? Mid left? Far left? Does he have any interest in doing anything positive about climate change?

Most would say he's centre left - but he's also been saying (IMO correctly) fuck your defecits, let's spend and get the economy going. While the "Leftist", supposedly "pseudo-Socialist" candiate wouldn't stop talking about how he'd balance the budget.

*shrug*

Quick, we need to schedule some sort of NAFTA summit during this brief period when all three countries are ruled by strangely handsome men.

Awesome job all you liberal Canadians. I heard Trudeau speak about two years ago at a convention. I had no idea he was running for PM, thought he was a local Toronto politician. I hated Harper for his foriegn policy views.

Really surprised to see Alberta so blue, after the provincial elections i thought there would've been a lot more orange.

Alberta was orange in the provincial elections because the two right wing parties split the vote.
And I think NDP support has dropped after the NDP came in power there.

I hope we can get this country back on track. I'm not a Trudeau fan after his support of the TPP. I would've preferred Mulclair but Jays win Harper gone so I'm glad at least.

Harper is gone. We can finally move ahead and start positive change in this country. Still cannot believe that we actually did it.

I mean come on...

Rob Gillies said:
Trudeau’s opponents pilloried him as too inexperienced, but Trudeau embraced his boyish image on Election Day. Sporting jeans and a varsity letter jacket, he posed for a photo standing on the thighs of two his colleagues to make a cheerleading pyramid, his campaign plane in the backdrop with “Trudeau 2015” painted in large red letters.

Harper, 56, visited districts he won in the 2011 election in an attempt to hang onto them. On Saturday, he posed with Toronto’s former crack-smoking mayor, Rob Ford, in a conservative suburb.

...such a hard farking choice here.

Wut? Our conservatives are more liberal than your liberals, haha. :p

No, Harper Blue Tories are as conservative as American neocons, you're thinking of Red Tories, and Blue Tories make up most of Harper's conservatives.

I don't see Democrats in the US resorting to dog whistle racism and turning the country into a fascist police state.
