U didnt know youtube censors ppl? Its not as bad as twitch but its still there, in terms of censorship basically close to none is rumble, bit more is twtitter(x), then yt, and then most is twitch, from popular platforms i used.Which censorship exactly? Can you point me to examples and receipts?

Seems all the closeted purple forum members come out whenever Doc is mentioned.

AFAIK music videos has always been the most popular/watched content on youtube. The rest is tailored to each user by the algorithm. So if that's how your homepage looks... My goodness..Looks like YouTube minus educational videos on modeling clothes and breastfeeding.
Based on this news, I'd assume a streaming site for pedophiles. The fuck is Rumble?
By super right you mean it doesn’t sensor free speech?Yeah, it's pretty cringe. It's the promised land for super right leaning folks. That's not what I go to YouTube for though.
I think Dana was using Rumble exclusively for his slap fight league a while back. That's why I downloaded it but I never remembered to use it lol
You understand that no company has to adhere to your 'freedom of speech' right?By super right you mean it doesn’t sensor free speech?
PAKRumble Pack for N64.
How do you explain a place like Reeeeee being a shit hole too?
Horseshoe theory:
Proponents of horseshoe theory argue that the far-left and the far-right are closer to each other than either is to the political center.
YouTube demonetizes you (as a YouTuber) if you say certain words, if you use swear words in the first 3-5 minutes of the video, and will flat out remove your video or ban your account if you say something THEY deem inappropriate, and when they deplatform/ban/penalize you, they will say that you broke the rules of conduct, but they will refuse to tell you what was it in your particular video that you did which earned you the penalty/demonetization/ban.Which censorship exactly? Can you point me to examples and receipts?

X owner Elon Musk is the world’s wealthiest flag-bearer for free speech, but under his leadership the social media platform is acceding to government requests to take down or withhold user content at a significantly higher rate than it did in the years leading up to his 2022 purchase.
People buy in to the ‘freedom of speech anywhere and everywhere’ memes unironically and don’t understand what a private company/terms of service is.You understand that no company has to adhere to your 'freedom of speech' right?
Absolutely no company on earth needs to adhere to that.
Free speech doesnt mean you can say whatever you want without any consequences to your actions.
Even Neogaf does not adhere to 'free speech' where you can just say whatever you want and expect it to not have any consequences. Trust me, I know.
You just argued my point for me. Thank you.You understand that no company has to adhere to your 'freedom of speech' right?

Crowder mostly. He got a few strikes for talking about election integrity. People like Scott Adams and Russell Brandon also had issues with YouTube because of talking about the Covid vaccine. Bongino has partial ownership, so I think that's why he's exclusive. Charlie Kirk often gets taken down on YouTube as well.Which censorship exactly? Can you point me to examples and receipts?
Whatever dude. If you want to act like a clown then keep posting like this. I don't know what you wanted from this interaction. You posed a question and I answered. You just argued my point for me. Thank you.
Go through the twitter files and get back to me.I would say Trump and his buddy minister Musk are right-wing and infamously self-proclaimed champions of free speech, however...:
I was talking about content creators like Steven Crowder and Dan Bongino. Those guys want Rumble to be the next YouTube but it won’t happen. Same thing with Bluesky. It won’t be the next Twitter.By super right you mean it doesn’t sensor free speech?
Thanks, I'll def look into this, but I don't know or have ever heard of these people. Americans I assume? Either way It'll look further into it. Thanks for coming through with the receipts I appreciate itCrowder mostly. He got a few strikes for talking about election integrity. If you want a discussion, your in the right platform (here on GAF).
If you want to spout nonsense and then not elaborate, this isnt the platform for you.
While being fucked up for the content creator in question, demonitization isnt censorship.YouTube demonetizes you (as a YouTuber) if you say certain words, if you use swear words in the first 3-5 minutes of the video, and will flat out remove your video or ban your account if you say something THEY deem inappropriate, and when they deplatform/ban/penalize you, they will say that you broke the rules of conduct, but they will refuse to tell you what was it in your particular video that you did which earned you the penalty/demonetization/ban.
A famous example I think was back in the Covid epidemic where they would demonetize YouTubers for speaking against vaccination.
What is your point dude? What do you want me to say? YouTube is against free speech and Rumble isnt?

Oh, wait, so it's even worse than I thought. Yeah, I just did a quick check, and it seems like the site is more or less funded/invested in by a group of right-wing whack-jobs.I was talking about content creators like Steven Crowder and Dan Bongino. Those guys want Rumble to be the next YouTube but it won’t happen. Same thing with Bluesky. It won’t be the next Twitter.
I get that. YouTube is by far the more user friendly experience. I use it often enough that I pay for premium. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it, it is also incredibly censored. When I would try and find data on covid for example it was impossible if you wanted anything outside the mainstream narrative. Turns out a lot of the mainstream narrative was actually the misinformation.I was talking about content creators like Steven Crowder and Dan Bongino. Couldn't agree more! Always great to have competition and options. Even if the options pale in comparison to the others. Not a fan of Disrespect and I don’t use Rumble, but there absolutely should be many platforms for everything.
Imagine the only way to post on forums is via Reddit. It’s not a good outcome for anyone other than Reddit.
tbf that's a Dan Bongino video not Geraldo. No service is that terrible to feature Geraldo.
It's what's left after you've been kicked out of Kick. I.e. pretty much the bottom of the barrel. The fuck is Rumble?
Why would you pay for premium when you can get free apps that do the same that YT premium does?I get that. YouTube is by far the more user friendly experience. On a different note I hope rumble grows because competition is always good. It would push YouTube to be even better.
So we went from "It's not happening" to "OK, it's happening, but it's a good thing." Okay, cool.Do you understand businesses have their own rules and regulations? If I go to a coffee shop and start throwing shit at the wall, you think they wont be able to throw me outside? Or what
I'm not disagreeing with you. I see people on YouTube talking about their comments being deleted all the time. Especially on bodycam channels. They also removed dislikes among other things. Google is a shit company. Everyone knows this.I get that. YouTube is by far the more user friendly experience. I use it often enough that I pay for premium. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it, it is also incredibly censored.
More competition is good, but they need more than ultra right political commentators and washed up streamers like Doc to draw people to the platform. YouTube thrives because of the wealth of children's content and random videos that suit anyone's interests. Like, if I want to watch a video about what it looks like falling into Jupiter, YouTube is the place to go, not Rumble. On a different note I hope rumble grows because competition is always good. When did I say that? I find it very normal businesses have rules and regulations. Literally every company in the world has that.So we went from "It's not happening" to "OK, it's happening, but it's a good thing." Okay, cool.
You questioned where the censorship is and I answered, only for you to handwave it as 'people saying stupid things', which is highly subjective. When did I say that? I find it very normal businesses have rules and regulations. Literally every company in the world has that.
Free speech isnt the end all be all of you can do and say whatever you want without consequences.
Not when those practices seem to be more strict and thoroughly enforced to YouTubers of a particular political isle, while the other side gets gentle slaps on the wrist for saying much worse.I dont understand whats so weird about that. Or controversial. Thats not even left leaning, thats normal business practices.
Saying that you question the effectiveness of a vaccine which was later proved to be linked to cardiac arrests is hardly 'acting like a moron', but you do you.If I act like a moron in the club they are gonna throw me out. Or should I yell FREE SPEECH I THOUGHT THIS WAS MURICA
Everyone said that, including on Resetera, up until Musk bought Twitter. It remained private site that can censor whatever it wants, but people began to whine and can't seem to stop, including some gov representatives. Which makes me very skeptical that most use this argument in good faith. Especially when there is government interference. You understand that no company has to adhere to your 'freedom of speech' right?

I could be wrong here but I think many people perceive center right all the way to ultra right wing in the same box. A lot of these people found a home on rumble because they were heavily censored on left wing sites for voicing there opinions that don’t fit the left wing narrative.More competition is good, but they need more than ultra right political commentators and washed up streamers like Doc to draw people to the platform. YouTube thrives because of the wealth of children's content and random videos that suit anyone's interests. Yes. Now, guess what is the rate of cardiac issues of the unvaccinated receiving COVID-19?Saying that you question the effectiveness of a vaccine which was later proved to be linked to cardiac arrests is hardly 'acting like a moron', but you do you.
No I just meant demonitization isnt censorship. If your content can still be viewed you aren't being censored. You questioned where the censorship is and I answered, only for you to handwave it as 'people saying stupid things', which is highly subjective.
YouTube itself refuses to tell YouTubers why it penalized them when it does so, which is a pretty shitty thing to do to someone who's made that platform directly linked with their income.

I don’t have an issue with a private entity enforcing their own censorship rules. I have an issue with the people in charge forcing those rules. Twitch targets people they don’t like based on ideology to ban them on any slip up and then pretends everyone is subject to the same rules.Do you understand businesses have their own rules and regulations? If I go to a coffee shop and start throwing shit at the wall, you think they wont be able to throw me outside? Or what
Sure, every drug has (the potential for) side effects. So the question is, why were people deplatformed, silenced, censored and called liars when they were weren't lying?Yes. Now, guess what is the rate of cardiac issues of the unvaccinated receiving COVID-19?
(hint, it's larger than the vaccinated)
Because people were eating horse paste and drinking silver and saying it's going to be fine? Sometimes it's a public health issue. There are ways for the nutjobs to get their message out there, but a private company has no obligation to provide it.Sure, every drug has (the potential for) side effects. And people can call them out on it when said company does.a private company has no obligation to provide it.
The 'we don't censor you like those other assholes' YouTube.
