What are the chances bioware has learned from their mistakes?
In a blog post from general manager Gary McKay, he wrote that the studio is "taking this opportunity between full development cycles to reimagine how we work at BioWare."
Used to love Mass Effect on 360
BioWare is full of talentless cunts now though, so fuck this game.
It's my understanding that they are working on ME5 and pulled a barve when EA told them the sales were bad of DA.Did they give numbers on how many people are even working at Bioware now then? Are they cooked? They sound cooked with a few people left to pitch a possible Mass Effect 5.

We will know probably 4 years from now, maybe next gen console ps6 era. Hopefully it will be as good as ME1 and ME2This seems like a good thing. PLEASE for the love of god don't fuck up the next Mass Effect, I need it to be good.
That is actually very easy to answer - because they think people want to feel represented in a video game. So instead of making it a tool for escapism they transplant the real world into the setting. Hence trans people in a world with dragons and necromancy.Every time I see this video I get angry. Why the fuck would anyone think that would fit in a video game like Dragon Age?
If anything it sounds like EA may have "restructured" a large majority of the people involved with Dragon Age (and its most complained about aspects)No way this game is good. Sounds like a mass flood of DEI folks about to further ruin whatever this was going to be.
I think once the dust settled people appreciated the series for what they tried to do and the extreme ambition. Nobody since has tried to do anything even close. When did Mass Effect became the gold standard for what Bioware once stood for? I can still clearly remember the vitriolic hate the third game got for "ruining" the ending (and by extension for some, the entire trilogy) and for the second game stripping out all the RPG elements, and for the first one being a "dumbed down" RPG compared to their other titles.
I have no skin in the game as I never liked Mass Effect to begin with, but having seen the discourse since the first one came out, the revisionist history has been interesting to watch.
EA has announced it is restructuring Dragon Age and Mass Effect studio BioWare, moving a number of developers onto other projects within EA and focusing entirely on Mass Effect going forward.

IGN understands that EA has already placed an unknown number of developers from BioWare into other, equivalent roles within the company. A smaller number of Dragon Age team members are also seeing their roles terminated, and are being offered time to apply to other roles within the company if they so choose.
BioWare's structure has shifted repeatedly in recent years. The studio had a round of layoffs in 2023., and has seen a number of high-profile departures throughout the development of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the most recent of which was director Corinne Busche announcing her departure from the studio last week. It is unclear how many individuals work at BioWare today. IGN asked EA for any comment or specifics on how many individuals at BioWare are being impacted by this change, how many are facing layoffs, and how many will remain at the studio.

Game development time really took a shit during Covid and Working from Home started to be more common at this Studios...
Wasnt ME5 announced in 2020 or 2021?
This shit should be in a playable start to finish state by now.
I almost forgot what a character with tits looked like. If it's not clear to EA what needs to happen then God help them. Ass and titties.
Wow I kind a reminds me of the Godfather 2 the last scene of his brother, but that's a different reference
For now after what happened to DA:VG, it is like playing Russian roulette. What are the chances bioware has learned from their mistakes?
Restructuring everyone into another room until we forget about it and then quietly firing them. What steps are they taking to ensure this won't just be a repeat?
It took me a minute of studying but I figured out that's Sydney Sweeney. Intensive researchI really hope that they would focus on something else or a new IP instead of ruining something great and-
I forgot what I was going to say.
You and me, Commander. You and me...
OG. Classic. I remember this wallpaper. The characters, graphic and story is pretty good.No comment I think mass effect 2’s squad building needs to return
Having an evil villain like the collectors helped, and BioWare has showed they can take years off and come back with a game of the year contender (ME2)
