Quoting myself here but hey…Anyone tried the PS4 version on PS5?
The frame rate on PS5 version is pretty bad for me. Thinking of starting a new game using PS4 locked 60 fps on PS5.
Maybe this can help?
Does anyone know where to get a greatsword?
I'm absolutely loving this game so much, and I'm having the hardest time NOT playing, lol.
I guess I'm one of the few that haven't seen ridiculous dipping performance on PC. Very few micro stutters, but that's really it. It's buttery smooth otherwise.
I hope the same/similar results for those of you that were/are super hyped.
I found it in a treasure chest on a carriage in the northeast area. I believe it's called Caelid? A ton of these wolf/dog t-rex things scout the area.
Edit - This may help:

Fixed. My apologies, didn't really view that as a "spoiler."No spoiler without tag PLEASE
I think the screaming may be from the bodies hanging on the wooden posts. Scared the shit out of me the first time I heard it...lol.What is the screaming in Limgrave? Is it the bat enemies? I was just casually strolling around earlier and heard a male voice crying out in pain but couldn't find the source.
Yeah I think that's where the sound is coming from? I'm unsure as it carries very strangly. I mean, you hear it pretty clear in areas where you feel like you shouldn't, lol.I think the screaming may be from the bodies hanging on the wooden posts. How so? You left the game running and walked away from it? Souls games usually autosave a lot. This fucking game... I just lost a whole day of progess after the PS5 went into rest mode. FUCK That!
EDIT : Uninstalling this shit. Don't have the patience to deal with that. Went back to square one.
They did it boys. The genius bastards did it. It’s perfect. They should have charged double for this game.

I just snuck past him, fuck that shitGrafted Scion in the castle is killing me good.
play offline. only way I knowQuestion: there is some way to disable those messages players place on the floor? It's visually annoying and breaks immersion for me.
If you toggle the info/display button in the buy menu, I believe it tells you what items you can craft with the recipe. The same information should be in your inventory once you have bought the recipe.does anyone know if the vendors sell the same cookbooks/recipe books you can find in the wild?
I'm about to buy every book from all the NPCs but I wouldn't want to buy duplicates.
I have no idea how I can check this.
I’m away from my Xbox, but are the cookbooks in your inventory? I thought only the recipes get added, and you don’t keep a physical bookIf you toggle the info/display button in the buy menu, I believe it tells you what items you can craft with the recipe. Not sure but that Shield Barricade is an absolute game changerHow does it work if your shield and weapon both have ash of war? Which activates?
I’m using that fast strikes or whatever ashNot sure but that Shield Barricade is an absolute game changer
The one I downed did not.do dragons respawn? I'm too scared to fight it and test it. last time I tried he one hit KOd me
I just snuck past him, fuck that shit
For me personally this is the easiest From game I've played and it's not even close. The wide expanse of the lands gives you every opportunity to upgrade and build your character as you want and be fully prepared for any situation.

not sure some bosses are a bitch.. i like the QoL improvements tho in dead> back to action. For me personally this is the easiest From game I've played and it's not even close. Holy crap I'm a little over 20 hours in and just got to Godrick, the major separator from this and every other From game is that no single experience is going to be the same for anybody, not sure if I just found it easy to get to Godrick but I started roof jumping and feel like I missed quite a few parts getting to him.At the 13 hour mark, just beat Godrick the Grafted.
Fun stuff!
The Menial boss(Leonine Misbegotten) south of Castle Morne drops a greatsword but it needs 40str.Does anyone know where to get a greatsword?
I think str requirements are 50% if you 2hThe Menial boss(Leonine Misbegotten) south of Castle Morne drops a greatsword but it needs 40str.
For me I use summon spirits when farming an area I know for quick clean up or when I'm fighting a boss and I want to toss a few fireballs without having my guard up. Summon doesn't feel anywhere near as essential as Ashes but it's nice to have otherwise.I am not using summon spirits but even ashes of war feel like from included easy mode within game. Bit torn on the issue, I really don't want make the game easy but on the other hand ashes of war feel kind of integral to the game.
You better be a dodge god if you're 2handing with most of the bosses in this game.I think str requirements are 50% if you 2h
Get shield without parry and you can use arts without double handing.Vagabond is nice, but all the war arts are pure rubbish since they require 2H, which negates the whole point of going Vagabond (S&S). Really thinking of quickly pushing forward with Samurai, the katana ability is insane.

I just found her for the first time at a bonfire/grace on the way to Liurnia, dunno if she's still there for you. The Lake-Facing Cliffs one.Anyone know where Hyetta is? She's the one with weak eyesight. I saw her once earlier in the game (before I starting using map markers...) and now I can't find her. Wiki is also wrong on her initial location.

About the "hub area"
Why does it feel so good to hug that lady. The atmosphere of this place is mazing
