My throat wasn't killing me, but my voice is extremely raspy from cheering so much. Almost back completely though.

These stream numbers do not count IGN or NicoNico's viewers (and there were a shitton of people watching on NicoNico, if I remember correctly).

Those numbers have never been made public, IIRC (at least from Nico, and I doubt IGN is going to give them up).

Is Ikeno that came with Makoto design or somebody else on the 3s team?

The character design was done by a design team at this time, but most of the directions and ideas were dicted by Akiman, the historical illustrator of the series.

Ikeno did the arts for 3.3 based on the designs:

Edit : he also made a lot of illustrations for the Alpha ports on GBA if I remember correctly. But also worked on Onimusha and Dragon's Dogma.

Just so people don't get too scared, this is looking like it's just an animation tween bug. It looks like they are inputing a move just as Akuma should be going into his landing anim which makes it appear like he is still in air when in the actual game state he is grounded. I guess it works with Chun too.

The new version is $39.99, so...nah. It's highly doubtful I'll get into it enough to drop real cash, but it's fun to play around with a series that a lot of people love. I also have Injustice, SFxT, Divekick and the perennial UMVC3 on my Vita so I've an abundance of fighters jockeying for time.

Yeah, I went in on some serious Vitamin D the week before and did Vitamin D and Vitamin C (as well as a lot of water) during the whole trip. At least it helped a bit.

The most important thing to do at an event at Evo is to take care of yourself. Stay hydrated and nourished, and try to get at least some sleep, and you should minimize the odds of getting sick. Vitamin C supplements do help, but you need to take them on a regular basis during and around the event (as your body will flush out the excess). I got the Evola bad in 2009 and after making those adjustments, I haven't gotten sick during or after the event.

Yeah, the Alpha had lots of issues, and the lack of boost, boost canceling, and rainbow stepping is one of them. The game has promise but needs lots of help to get there. Really they shouldn't be afraid to go full Gundam on the game.
