You could customise on screen NPC count on Remake too. Upto 10.

I just hope I'm not writing custom engine ini files this time.

The area outside Kalm also looked terrible without AO on the PS5. See if they've fixed that. As well as the utterly horrible wood textures in the inn in Under Junon. The environmental textures in general are terrible if I'm honest.

As I expected no UW, which is a real pity as it looks far better in Remake when you use Flawless Wide-screen to enable it along with 120%+ internal resolution to improve the image.

The game looks really good on the Pro. but still has tons of annoying vegetation pop in. I did not see that in this video. It is good they cleaned that up.

You can get a 27" 1440p 165Hz IPS monitor for $149. This is about the lowest-end monitor for gaming you can buy pretty much. It's not 2015 anymore when this kind of monitor was $800. Stop acting like a retard.
Alright just because something is available doesn't mean that the majority of people are using it. Since you called him a retard you'll probably pull out the poor comment too but not everybody upgrades their stuff and it's been proven over and over that 1080p is still the most common resolution at least with Steam users.

And before you even go there, I use a 1440p 240hz OLED.

In a world where most people game in 1080 60 - 120hz according to the latest steam data.

... and for everyone else?

Imagine dictating PC options only based on what would be applicable to "most people."

"Well, most people have the equivalent of a GTX 30-whatever or lower, so may as well not bother having very high or ultra graphics settings."
"Well, most people have only SDR monitors, so forget about adding HDR support."
"Well, most people play with M&KB, so we're not going to spend any time making sure our game is gamepad-compatible."

What sort of dumbass logic is that?

The game already looks amazing on ps5 so pc will be good.
Ridiculous that the enhanced lighting wasn't a part of the PS5 Pro upgrade.
Yep this is really weird. It’s probably not a big deal.
The only thing graphically bad in rebirth on ps5 is lod on the clock tower in kalm and the terrible texture and graphics of the dressing booth on beach level. It’s the new remake door. Not fixed in pro

Regardless of the port's quality, I like the fact that Square is taking Rebirth's marketing of its PC release a LOT more seriously than they did with Remake.

Also, two weeks.

These games should be upgraded to unreal engine 5. I think it was mistake to keep it on unreal 4. Fans did not see a big wow upgrade and the sales were not good

Ultrawide users are what? 1 percent of pc users?
PS5 Pro users were what 1% of Sony customers? They still made a patch for it.

I understand why they didn't bother since the game is cutscenes heavy and reframing them is a load of work. Remake's hack has problems (characters appearing from nowhere, model textures unloading, doors disappearing) on stuff that's supposed to be out of frame, but this whole schtick I hear time and time again about low user percentage is not a good excuse.
