Sorry to beat a dead horse, but this is the corner from which Muntari 'scored'.

Emanuelson is out of the pitch and the ball is out of the corner quarter circle. I assume that makes the entire situation (and the arguments and controversy of the last two days) invalid?

Can we all be friends now?

He's not allowed to be outside the pitch?

As for being out of the corner circle... common, it's like 1 inch.

finally got round to finishing Uncharted 3. What a game! How the hell do Naughty Dog pull crap like that off on a console!?

not if you're going to make arguments like that...

I don't know the rules in that much detail unfortunately. And the ball being out of the quarter circle is nitpicking to the highest degree, but it's technically against the rules.

But I'm not interested in fighting with anyone. I just saw the pic posted on my twitter feed and thought it was interesting how many things you can find if you really (really) look for them. Plus if it were the other way round, I'm sure that this would be all over Mediaset.

Following an election this morning, Yildirim Demiroren has been named the new President of the Turkish Football Federation. The former Besiktas President received 221 votes out of a possible 229.

Change.

I'd like to forget that game ASAP. Thank god there's another Juve - Milan next month.

Two disallowed goals, two reds in the first half and two reds in the 2nd half -_-

The saddest thing to me was seeing Milan fans turn into Inter.

Launching a complaint on Pirlo was also the lowest of the low.

Now that Liverpool have won the League Cup do you reckon Gareth Barry is pissed off at his decision to turn Liverpool down and join City?

I think Emanuelson is okay where he is, you can be standing outside of the white lines, as long as the ball is inside the white lines when you make contact with it. Even if your whole body is outside the white line apart from the part of your body which makes contact with the ball, that's fine.

However, that ball is clearly not inside the corner arc or on the line. Kicking it from there is against the rules.

Well, as we all know, players only go to City for the money, so I am sure he's very happy with the choice he made.

More seriously, did he actually turn Liverpool down? I thought he was very happy to go there but Liverpool weren't willing to pay the price Villa demanded (as they spent it on Robbie Keane instead!)

New Milan style. That was bad. Like really, really bad, I felt so embarassed. Galliani and company should try to calm down, the match is over and there are still 13 matches before the end. We (and Juve as well) can win the Scudetto, everybody should try to focus on that, then talk.

Speaking to the Mirror, Barry said: “I remember when the transfer saga was going on watching a friendly and the Liverpool fans were singing “you can stick Gareth Barry up your arse!’.

“That might have got into my head a little bit, but it’s part and parcel of football.”

He added: “People say to me that I made the right decision joining City.

“Obviously Liverpool is a fantastic club with a great following, but I won the FA Cup last year, I’ve played in the Champions League and we’re top.

“Liverpool were still interested when I decided to join City. I thought about it really hard but I felt City were on the up whereas Liverpool were maybe finding it a bit tougher than City.”

Yeah!

On paper a draw in San Siro is a good result for us, but in reality (this Juve), it really isn't. Because we still struggle against provincial sides.

Thats not because the small sides magically start performing better.
Thats mainly because of the bigger clubs dont give any importance to the cup and field weakened sides in majority of the game. Its only when they get to latter stages in the cup when they start fielding decent sides.

Smaller sides always raise their game on the day. It's happened for years and will continue to do so. Weakened sides may be an excuse when it comes to the League Cup but the FA cup is another matter.

Solely putting down wins for lower league clubs down to weakened teams is a bit naive.

Uh oh. Atkinson in charge for Spurs/United on the weekend.

AVB says that since Malouda/Kalou are close to the end of their contracts there's space for a player like Hulk at Chelsea.

If we had signed Barry, it's probable that Lucas wouldn't have been given the chance to develop into the player he is today.

I'm confident that we got the better end of that particular deal.

If you'd signed Barry then you probably would have sold Gerrard.

Think about that for a while.....

No. More likely Xabi Alonso would have gone a season earlier, for less than half the £30m he went to Madrid for, and Liverpool probably wouldn't have finished with 86 points that season.

Alonso was the player up for sale in 08.

Barry is a decent player and had he joined at the time I wouldn't of been against it. However at the time it was thought that Barry was being brought in to replace Alonso (Barry isn't fit to cleans Xabi's boots) so I think that's were most of the poor reaction came from.

For me Lucas is a better player than Barry now but I'm sure others will disagree.

You guys also won the match against Milan back in october, so if we end with the same points you'll get the Scudetto. Which is a pretty useful thing for you, not that much for us.

Heh, we basically are against provincial sides until may. Wait, nope, there's also Inte- nevermind, they're all provincial. :D

Btw, Mexes just got a 3 match suspension. Nothing for Muntari and Pirlo.

Barry was intended to replace Alonso, not Gerrard. Probably Rafa's biggest fuck up, he actively tried to sell Xabi to accommodate Barry.

My mistake then.

Now I have to ask why would you ever actually want to sell Xabi Alonso? He was your best midfielder during his time there imo.

Almost came to Juve but Ranieri wanted Poulsen instead (lol)

We needed to sell in order to buy. I guess Rafa thought 3 £10m players would have been better for Liverpool than one £30m player.

In fairness he had a pretty bad/inconsistent season in 07/08, by his standards at least. We tried to sell him on the back of that but couldn't get Barry. Then he had that fantastic season the year after but he just didn't want to stay cause of how he was treated.

Our midfield used to consist of three truly world class players :(

mexes should be banned for 10 matches. if zlatan's light slap was worth 3 matches, then in comparison mexes's punch should warrant a much heavier ban. but that is assuming there aren't different standards for zlatan and everyone else.

also, lol allegri

btw also there is more proof that ladri fans cannot say it was a fair result

I bet he is pissed he left Villa. Had he stayed, Milner would have stayed, which means Downing and Young would have stayed. We'd be a force!
don't cry, don't cry, don't cry

Or spent it on DB9!

new italy away kit is kind of ugly :(

i mean it's not that bad, but i miss the ones that were mainly all white and classy looking. hopefully this will grow on me, <3 puma

Just got around to try Uncharted 2. Only at chapter 3 so far. Incredible improvement over the first game. I wanted to pick up FIFA12 but saw U2 on sale, so now I'll just wait for EURO12. Hopefully EA will have updated Adam's pk number by then - if the ball ever returns.

Doesn't that show that abate's foot is in line with Matri's body?

Also, blaming the referee/linesman is one thing, but what do we have to do with it?

Terrible during 06/07 and 07/08.

EA lost the Euro 12 rights. Warner Bros got the rights now, and Double Helix Games is developing the game. Good luck with that!

Zlatan is no stranger to slapping and punching players, of course they're going to give him three games at least.

The picture? SKY (which last time I checked, should be favoring Milan), said it was onside. That was a weird angle considering the defender who played him onside was behind him AND it's a picture AFTER the pass was made.

This is the last time I'm going to respond to you regarding the goal.

It was a fair result because of all this bullshit.
