Football Thread 2014/2015 |OT11| This Is Our Year!

Probably (definitely) already posted but Dante has been getting pissed at Muller for ripping the piss out of him for the 1-7 thrashing:

"I told them 'Look, it's not the time to make jokes about it. It was much more serious for us than you can imagine'."

Dante says that if the jokes continue he'll dish it out in training.

I'll never talk as to anyone a though our keepers are better, can't fucking stand having a choice of Mignolet and Jones in goal. Want them both gone asap.

In fact, I rate Sczezhny quite highly, with the caveat that he too often does something idiotic when he should just keep it simple. Its like he has the confidence of Neuer, without quite having the ability to make it work every time.

You can get away with that 99% of the time though, but when it happens twice in one match, costing goals both times, people react as though it negates everything he does well, and he's costing the team goals all the time.

Its the perfect oppurtunity to give Ospina some time to show what he's got, without giving up on Schzezhcnzcnzncy altogether

Wonder if Balotelli scored ¬¬

I feel you mate, both arent top class for Liverpool and to be honest your team is average

Szczesny is good, he can develop and he can be better if he wants. Its just sometimes as you said he does very very stupid mistakes that costs the team not only goals but the game.

Balotelli will score if he plays upfront with Sturridge. Mark my words

About to watch the final episode of The Sopranos for the first time.

It's getting me really down about Gandolfini's death, fucking tragic.

Christ, I feel like A.J.

I just remember the first time I watched the Sopranos ending.

After all was said and done I felt empty for days, like something important in my day was missing. I wish I could watch it for the first time again.

This so much. I watched it a few months later together with somebody who did not see it before, which also was a fun experience.

Why would Bony want to go and warm City's bench? What a waste.
Honestly think he'll come in and start right away with Aguero. But either way, he'll make something like double his current salary and will play in the Champions League next season barring a catastrophic collapse. For him, this is great. If it doesn't work out at City, he can move on in 2 years or so and would be 27/28 and in the prime of his career.

Seeing The Sopranos finale the night it aired was pretty wild. The reactions were amazing.

I'm already feeling like that, I'd feel so much happier if Gandolfini was still around.

Anyway, opening credits are starting.

Goodbye, GOAT.

Shaqiri accepted #Inter bid. Tomorrow Inter director will be in Munich to talk with Bayern trying to reach an agreement. #LFC is now waiting

Not sure what they're waiting for, mind.

I felt certain before the game that we'd crumple in on ourselves like a soggy box, but, despite some generally ugly defensive work and a couple confounding mistakes by Rafael, Napoli managed a solid victory. Slotting Gabbiadini in alongside the sort of performances Hamsik, Higuain, and Callejon had today might give us the most frightening attack in Serie A (despite the fact that, in the final instance, we'll still play like the same fetid coagulation of humanity we've been all season long).

Now, Juve need to go out there and slop around like Milan.

It pretty much is real, the full quote is: 'I always say a squad is like a good meal. I'm not a great cook, but a good meal takes a wee bit of time. But also, to offer a good meal you need good ingredients.'

:lol OK. Damn, that one got me.

I feel like Brendan could teach a class on anything with those top tier similes.
