Just had a look at the times, yeah. I only check them once a day if that.
Just watched ASM 2 for the first time. I don't think it's as atrociously bad as some make it out to be, but it's certainly not a good movie. The character arcs for the villains were undeveloped, and the mystery surrounding Peter's parents disappearance, which had been built up over 2 movies, was resolved in about two minutes in a massive anti-climax. And the over use of slowmo in every action scene broke any sort of immersion I woul have had.
The only thing this movie had going for it was the PP/Gwen Stacey relationship. Some nice moments between them. So of course th directorial staff had to fuck that up too. This movie is just tragic.

There was no need for yet another origin story to the villains or Parker/Spiderman. It's obviuos that Sony was triying so hard to distance themselves from Riami's Spiderman films. Should have just gone for a Venom storyline straight from the bat, had Emma Stone play MJ instead and had more of the relationship/Parker in school shit happening.

In my opinion, I reckon he goes straight into the squad and then the judgement is made from there.
He won't be a Gerrard replacement though. I suspect the club will want to distance him from those comparisons as much as possible.
I didn't mind Emma Stone playing Gwen Stacey instead of MJ (she's a stunner with red hair tho). That was a relationship which was never explored in Raimi's trilogy. Should've had Peter already as Spiderman and hunting down the newest villain. Could've developed whatever romantic relationship they wanted to tell without having to introduce his fucking character for the umpteenth time.
