That's exactly why he left Mainz.
He stablised the club and made them a team that actually stays within the Bundesliga, you know while Klopp and Andersen struggled.
He made them better and their year after year, a real competitor for the European league, but he isn't dumb either though.
He knows that Mainz needs alot more time to grow, especially financially until they can aim for even higher targets.
This will take a couple of years, if they continue to work as they currently do, and Tuchel wanted to step up already.

Seriously though I thought it was an interesting article about differences in mentality and his burden of being a great player in a not so good team.
It was interesting in a few segments, but most of it is just large conclusions coming from cherry-picked circumstance and smacks of "I bet you never thought of it this way" when it's the same thing Liverpool fans have been talking about for years.
The part about Benitez coming to Liverpool was pretty good and is interesting in the context of comparison with the Rodgers era.

Definitely thought his deployment on the right was an interesting one.
I hope we don't fire Rodgers before giving him a chance to see what he can do post-Gerrard. Feel like he's been shackled from the start by the necessity to always play him when fit, and now when he'll finally have the chance to set up the team from scratch, it seems like he's on his last legs at the club.
