Yurt. Pls. You posted a picture of Casillas. You are almost on plugs level lately. I wish cool Yurt would be back again. The one from 2012.

Wonder how many errors leading to goals Lahm has made in his career

Probably less than Lovren has made this season alone. Insanely dependable.

@Liverpool fans, can you give me player ratings for the Leicester match? I'm relying on MotD highlights

Well. I only remember the one from the Euro 2008 where Torres scored the winning goal. He has been pretty stable since then :lol

Neuer should be your capitano

Like Buffon or what?

Oh boi Yurt. You're like the Serie A. Stucked in the 00s!

Honestly, that's a half error imo

Sometimes a defender just hits a situation where they're battling a player for sheer strength and pace, and Torres would have beaten 95% of players for that in those days. Was maybe an error to get himself into that situation, but he'd have been probably sent off if he fouled him

Personally, even though I think Scholes may be a better footballer than gerrard... I think gerrard will be regarded as a bigger legend by Liverpool fans than Scholes will be by Man United m8s.

At least we all agree on that. Great.

Probably because we had a proper team to get around while Liverpool had some individuals that shined and Gerrard shone the most.

For me, No English midfielder can match Scholes in the last 20 odd years.

True.

Torres was such a beast back then. My favourite striker too. Just ask Jack_cw haha

Now that I've praised Lahm, give us a discount on ShaqAttack :p

Got a terrifying feeling that we'll do literally nothing in this window. Our season's over if that happens. Its on the brink already.

Passer - Scholes
Dribbler - Scholes
Leader - Gerrard
Defender - Scholes
Attacker - Gerrard
Set piece taker - Gerrard
Header - Gerrard
With opposite food - Scholes
In terms of versatility - Gerrard

13m is already pretty cheap imo. I would have asked for 20m. But thats the curse of having too many good players. If one wants to leave, he goes out for dirty cheap. Just like Gomez or Mandzu.

Not cheap enough when we're seemingly unwilling to spend anything this month.

I need a discount that enters the realms of 'free transfer' :p

then Chelsea swoop in anyway

I thought Liverpool has money.

Hitch pls.

WHERE IS THE MONEY?

If we have it, we apparently don't trust The Commitee with it.

@Odd, I think if Shaqiri is on the market for £13m , we'd be insane not to go for it, even if his position isn't one of the 3 priorities. He's in the same position as Sturridge was as far as I can tell, except I know that Shaqiri has it in him to be boss.

Made a stupid career move that has curtailed his development, plays too sefishly when he gets on the pitch as he's too desperate to impress as an individual and get into the first 11. If he can calm down, he'll go on to be a hell of a player imo. And I'd be delighted if it was us to even try and get that out of him.

Its kinda crazy that we have 2015 already.

Feels like yesterday when we just entered the 00s. And now we're the fuck in 2015. 15. Scary.

So which striker will Liverpool let go next season? I think Balo can still deliver (although he has been an extra cunt lately on the pitch) but Rickie Lambert was an embarassing vanity buy.

I dont think going to Bayern was a stupid career move. Im sure he learned a lot from Heynckes and Pep.

Playing constantly is the most important thing at the stage of career he's spent at Bayern. There's no doubt that he's picked up plenty from the staff and other players, but its not worthwhile if its at the detriment of gametime. Maybe he just has exceptional confidence in his own ability, but he should have known that he was unlikely to be in the first 11 while Ribery and Robben are around.

edit: Balotelli was the vanity buy. Lambert made complete sense for what he was intended as, disregarding the sentimental aspect.

This transfer window going to be hell for Wenger. Every game we lose he will get slaughtered, every press conference he will get grilled and he only has himself to blame.

There's no way you don't buy a centreback or a rightback, surely?

Bought Wolfenstein for £18 on PS4. I want trophies, and to play it with DS4. Shove that up your arse, PC knobends.

It's Wenger. At the end of the window we will get the "there were no available targets".

And no way do we sign a right back. Debuchy, Chambers and Bellerin are who he'll go with.

Forgot about Debuchy tbh

Yeah, a centreback should be priority, and a DM if the funds are there (I assume they are)

CB - Koscielny, Mertesacker, new signing, Debuchy, Chambers
RB - Debuchy, Chambers, Bellerin

That looks much better already. Would help take the pressure off Chambers massively as well, at his age he should be playing when possible to aid his development, not every game. Obviously that'll get much better regardless, with the return of Koscielny and Debuchy.

I'm sorry but who's year is this?

I'm more active in NarutoGaf than I am here.
I guess I have different priorities...

I hope madrid can retain cl title.

Balotelli will be sold this transfer window since he wasn't even on the bench against Leciester. A replacement will be bought.

Lambert IIRC was given a two year deal and will see that through and then probably retire. Origi will probably take Lamberts place this summer since Lbert doesn't suit our style of play that well.

Sturridge will hopefully stick around for a few years and we will have three strikers who can rotate and all play our teams style.

Borini isn't wanted at the club and will be sold ASAP with no replacement.

Why is Borini still here?

Read that he basically ruined everything against Leicester, and prevented more chances than he helped.

Can we have Adnan in the midst of all this?

Definitely.

Mirallas tantrums alone would make it worthwhile.

We'll send Adnan along with a note from Fellaini, addressed to Mirallas. And it's just a big fucking imprint of a forehead, with an exclamation mark.

Why the fuck did they call this show Marco Polo? It is basically the story of Kubla Khan.

and oh sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. i just wikipedia the show to find out who one of the hot actresses was and it is Zhu Zhu.

Phil Neville's living room is vile

‘I like to be busy,’ he says. ‘It was why I enjoyed being first-team coach at United so much.
‘Going out on to that training field, planning training, working with the best set of lads you could ever wish to know.

‘The gaffer and Steve Round [Moyes’ assistant] gave me responsibility straight away. They threw me in at the deep end and said, “You’ve got to be able to handle this”.

Christ.

‘I’m all over the place. I went on the Tube for the first time. I’m walking around London like a student, having a beer. Gary (his brother) said, “What the f**k are you doing Genoa-Palermo for?” But I love it. There’s a player at Palermo who is going to be a superstar, by the way. Paulo Dybala. Remember that name.

YES PHIL SON OF MOYES

It's the Year of Kane.
ah yes that upstart harry kane.

i dislike the donkey league but I have heard of harry kane and his exploits. he is certainly having something of a breakout year.

he ain't bad but he's got a long way to go before he can consider himself elite talent. many "flash in the pan" or one season wonders show up. many fizzle as quickly as they flash up the pitch.

but considering england's utter lack of talent, perhaps kane is a godsend. we'll see.
