Woke up thinking it was Saturday
Weird days.

I loved the initial world building though with the arbeit macht frei slave planets.
The synthesized primal soup premise ie transhumanise and the Mengele esque experiments.

I mean.. if the worldbuilding and themes are more fascinating (and in this case heavily unused) yeah...

Wish I had a colour printer. I have no idea what grade the card would get so just put A for authentic lol. The serial number I’m gonna keep a record of all my cards. On the back I even put a little QR code on it.

Tried to think of a name so just done VÆ because V1ÆM would be too big.

Not sure if or when I’ll send it to get graded properly.

Feels like Monday because I was off work the last two days so that felt like the weekend. Another 3 day week next week…and then I need to wait 4+ months before I can take another holiday :(

fuck yeah, my new/old TV came. now i can finally play my PS2 again :messenger_sunglasses:

i loved Digimon World when i was younger but i sucked at it and never got far. I keep saying one day I'll finally play through it.

Also that version of HP i've never played either. Well, I did play a little of the start before I got my new TV (which obviously doesn't work with PS2). I discovered that there was a PS1 version of Chamber of Secrets so I've never played that either (I bought it). I thought CoS only ever released for PS2.

I did sell a bunch of PS2 games but still got all my HP, Tony Hawks, and GTA games (except Liberty/Vice City Stories).

i actually did think about buying some :messenger_fearful: but it's bad enough buying Pokemon cards. Same goes for Magic. I had some of those cards years ago and tried playing the game on Steam. I want to get back into it but I think I best just play it on my PC instead of buying physical cards :messenger_grinning_sweat:

and to answer your question, i'm quite surprised how often I see Digimon cards. didn't realise it was still popular. Obviously not as big as Pokemon/Magic but it's always there whenever I visit a store.

oh and some other stuff i got delivered today:

semi rigid holders for cards (need them if i'm gonna send any cards to get graded)

a jewelers loupe with x60 and x90 magnifying with built in LEDs (for inspecting my pokemon cards!)

new sleeves for card slabs (some of the ones i had were a bit grubby)

my wartortle card (finally)

waiting on my Firestick 4K Max being delivered. I want it to stream games from my PC to TV and to stream gamepass games too.

i'm not that stupid :messenger_grinning_sweat: . i actually like the pokemon cards i'm not in it to make money. i'll buy some booster packs here and there but mostly i'm only buying cards of my favourite pokemon or cards that have cool artwork.

yeah i love HP too. went to the tour last year. that was my first time. i have a fuck load of photos :D i'm going back to London in June but not sure if I'll have time to go to the tour.

also saw Cursed Child play which was actually quite enjoyable. much better experience than reading the script book.

i did sell my HP blu rays recently but i have them on my apple account to stream.

i'm super excited for the new TV show. they are gonna start filming it at Leavesden in summer. i hope i don't die before it comes out and finishes lmao.

have you read any of the Cormoran Strike books or watched the TV show? the latest series just aired recently. Rowling has named the 8th book which should be out soon hopefully. That book series is gonna over take the HP series in terms of amount of books.

the 5th book i found difficult to finish because it was so long and confusing (too many names to remember and a lot of is meant to be excerpts of online chats). this is the book the latest TV series is based on. i haven't read the 6th book yet.

Yeah we took a shit load of photos as well. I lined up with our friends daughter to get photos of us flying on the broomstick. Roughly forty kids and me lined up it was hilarious lol.

My original Dobby was made out of this weird material so perished over time. I bought another one whilst visting Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London last time.

yeah i remember seeing kids at the green screen for the broom pics lol.

all i bought there was a chocolate frog and bertie bott beans. i couldn't eat the frog because it was solid and the beans were disgusting!

i wanted to get a wand but i couldn't decide. i already have harry, dumbledore, and voldemorts. also i have a "custom" one that i bought off Alivan's years ago. I don't know if they are still around... I remember seeing them advertised on Mugglenet waaay back (I loved Mugglenet forums). I had to get it shipped from the US.

My friend bought the elder wand at Universal Orlando Resort and kindly let me hold the wand in my mouth, whilst riding the broom at the green screen photo set. I looked completely unhinged!
