Oh wow! That is really fast.

I won't be the first to report but I will report in when I'm done. I have 560GB to transfer over, will be using the direct connect method via a CAT6 cable.
"Det sitter en 1 TB Toshiba SSHD i Playstation 4 Pro"
There's a 1 TB Tosiba SSHD in Playstation 4 Pro /Employee of Sweclockers.
Is that true?
Mine had a standard HGST 5400RPM drive.
Okay this is the SSD I'm looking to buy. The Crucial MX300 at 750GB.

That should work right? It's an SSD so I assume so, but the listing says something about a 9.5m adaptor so I was a bit uncertain
Apparently this retailer has a few 2TB 2.5 " firecuda drives for anyone interested. I just placed an order and it went through

Thanks for the heads up, I got one this morning too. My order status says "pending approval" still though. Has yours changed from that at all?
The 850 Evo will fit, right?
It will fit, the adapter is because in some laptops the spacing will be so far off that the drive will be angled to the point it won't have a good connection and won't be detected by the motherboard.
My friend has this model. Had it in his PS4 and as of this morning in his Pro. Had no issues.

I can't say for sure but it's likely you downloaded the wrong update file.Anyone having issues where it will say "The update file cannot be used"?

There is an update file for people who already have the OS installed which is like 200-400 MB in size.
There is also a file that is specifically for people who replace the HDD. It's usually about 900MB.
Make sure you download the latter or go to http://ps4firmware.com and download the Recovery file.
did you download the correct version - the larger 600mb plus not the smaller 200mb ish one
So what is the best SSD so far to go for ? Samsung evo ?
so I tested Tomb Raider (Rise of)...
OG PS4 with SSHD 23 secs to main menu
Pro with stock drive 14 secs to main menu

I was on Auto Notify with Newegg and just got the email 5 seconds ago that the 2tb SSHD was in stock only to go there and see that it was not. EIther it sold out fast, or something F'ed up.
2nd test Mantis Burn Racing, loading the first race both OG PS4 with SSHD and Pro with stock HDD were 20 seconds. Bit odd.
Ah I must have been too fast to see the change. I see it now.
Has there been proven improvements with the SSHD?
Seems like even regular HDD improve loads on Ps4 Pro.
Sweet. Backorder with Newegg on the Firecuda was charged, and is shipping. 2TB here I come ... for $20 more than Amazon. Dammit.

I made this mistake too when I replaced the HDD on my original PS4.
Where? I don't see the 2.5 in 2tb firecuda on amazon. I see the 3.5 drive, but not the 2.5
