Insisting the woman had to lose her name because she's the woman is sexist. It's saying she has to be the one to compromise cause she's the woman. Please explain how that is not sexist.
This. Thankfully my wife is as old fashioned as me when it comes to stuff like this, So there wasn't really any need to debate or insist as I wouldn't do that if she wanted to keep her name.
They couldn't even if they wanted to: it's illegal.
