Even if all of that is true how can you possibly say it's "off" compared to consoles that can't even keep it locked to 30? The PC version of GTA (like almost all releases) looks and performs better than the console brethren. Hell, my digital PS3 copy can't even stream textures when going above like 20mph.
Considering you couldn't get MGR to turn above 30 I'm just going to guess some of those issues are on your end.
So, again, what other games beside AK are off COMPARED to the console version?
PS I'm trying to alleviate your fears not pick a fight.
How is it on my end when it happened on two different video cards? A 580 and now a 980. Both with the 30fps issue. Crisis on a different computer ran at 24fps with HDMI hooked up to a TV. It's a software issue and for sure documented on the steam forums. There's a big sticky thread on that games forum.
I think we have a winner for "Best example of why preloading is essential"
Also a good case example for why not having a physical PC copy available in all regions is a terrible decision.

I hope at some point we can get a MGS collection on PC
With Rising, Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain being on the PC, a PC port of the HD Collection is practically assured, and I'm sure the original MGS will find its way on to Steam also. MGS4 making the jump is something I'm less optimistic about given Konami hasn't ported it anywhere.
Fuck that would be great. I've wondered what has taken so long for that. With Rising, Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain being on the PC, a PC port of the HD Collection is practically assured, and I'm sure the original MGS will find its way on to Steam also. Luckily PC version is getting a physical release!
Tell us where.if your internet is fucked, buy a disc. seriously.
Tell us where.
Preload data are encrypted so there is no possibility of datamining. Most likely to prevent people datamining and spoiling the game.
But then again, aren't there already copies of the game out in the wild?
But what about my PC of choiceon your console of choice. better than waiting every single time.
But what about my PC of choice![]()
Nah, I'd rather keep playing stuff at 1440p, even if that means getting neglected more often than not in terms of physical release.on your console of choice. better than waiting every single time.
Good, fuck data miners. They ruined pre-load.
Good, fuck data miners. They ruined pre-load.
People will data mine the 360 and PS3 version days before the game is released.
Good, fuck data miners. They ruined pre-load.
I feel for the people with bad internet, but personally I stopped preloading since it's actually faster to download than to decrypt on my connection![]()
Good, fuck data miners. They ruined pre-load.
Plz release at Midnight EST
pretty much.Pre-load was a blood sacrifice to the same-day-release gods.

This seems like a thread where someone will know what the problem is. Googling yielded nothing.
Replaying Ground Zeroes on PC and I'm having a relatively new issue, wondering if anyone has the same. The game likes to crash randomly when I use the binoculars and look around, zooming in and out and tagging and what not. I have a pretty decent laptop and the game runs great otherwise. Anyone have this problem?
I'd hate to think I'll just be unable to use the binoculars or sniper scope in TPP.
