This has nothing to do with Concord, not sure why you're bringing that up. Everyone knows it's a massive flop.

I think second party partnerships that enable new IP due to funding (like Stellar Blade) are fine to praise. They may not get made unless someone with funding steps in to make them.

CoD was always getting made. And these CoD games take many studios years to make, well before MS actually officially closed the deal for this title. As long as Microsoft doesn't ruin the IP or mismanage it into the ground, I would expect it to continue being huge thanks to the IP and nothing to do with Microsoft's brilliant management. It's essentially a yearly sports game now and the formula doesn't really have much that needs changing for their audience, they will buy it. Doesn't need a whole lot of attention as long as the studios are kept happy. They know how to make CoD games far better than MS does.

Theyve been doing that for a while. How does that change the fact that they are almost out of the console business and their console buyers have jumped ship or are spouting the new company marching orders and joined pc? Again, what happened to CoD exclusivity? What happened to not needing Playstation and Nintendo customers? New marching orders have changed. Its OK for ports to other consoles as long as GP stays cheap or they are Playstation subsidized. That's quite the, cough cough, PC approach
