More like 12.0X vs 12.X
Pure speculation on my part.
we pretty much know that the Series X is not exactly 12.00TF, the options are:
60CU - 1.6GHZ - 12.28TF
56CU - 1.7GHZ - 12.18TF ⬅ most likely one
52CU - 1.8GHZ - 11.98TF
or they go with a more uneven clock speed to exactly hit 12TF but why would they do that? there's no real reason to it other than aesthetics

Apparently they're closing on March 31st., but haven't called me officially yet to let me know about my existing pre-orders. Come to find out, anything existing by way of pre-orders will be moved to the next closest location. There's another one west of me which is closer, but not for where this closing gamestop is.
So yea....could be an absolute clusterfuck if they take next-gen pre-orders and suddenly decide to close the store. I think it's safe to say if they accept such pre-orders, they'll remain in business until at least the end of the year. Who knows though (I live in NY too).

1.8Ghz is pretty ok for NAVI. If they go with 1.81Ghz for example it's 12.05TF.

But I just cant understand how sony could do it? I will probably still buy XSX just to play xbox one games in much better quality, but most people will probably not want to buy MS console if PS5 will run even multiplatform games better. Also 13TF suggest me really expensive console, so what casuals will say to lets say 599$ price point?

In regards to Covid-19, I remember back when PS2 launched they had a shortage of units, something like 500K units in the US instead of the 1 million they had planned. If you didn't have a confirmed preorder or didn't wait outside all night, they were very difficult to get. I worked at Toys R Us at the time and we did $5-down preorders on like 14 units we had. I ended up with 2. 
My bro and I picked it up at 5:30am, got blazed, and went to eat at IHOP. I was so nervous that it would be stolen that I ate with it in a chair next to me. I only relay that to say, it might not be easy to do preorder, especially if you're competing against employees and their friends. Might have to camp out. Regardless, Sony should say something if there's shortages like they did in 2000.

Yeah I agree, and you could argue that the shadows also aren't ray-traced, they aren't really sharp when they are close to contact as they should.

Mine are fine.
I don’t go there anymore but when you’re only there to take advantage of system trade in promotions, it’s not so bad.
I think they are the only place left that takes them in.... maybe Best Buy still does.
on the other hand, trying to sell shit on Craigslist or Kijiji is a pain in the ass. You’ll eventually sell it but at a nickel dimed price two weeks later.
but back when I’d go there more and buy some used games or those trade2 or 3 get a new game, the upsells and listening to all the nerds talking to each other was a pain.
I like how your trying to buy your game (should be a quick transaction), but when you got random nerds talking to the clerk and the clerk being frazzled and suddenly ignore you while he does geek talk with them is dumb and a time waster.

Xbox One - 853 MHz
Xbox One S - 914 MHz
Xbox One X - 1172 MHz
I took inspiration from them and clocked my GTX 970 1503 MHz for exactly 5.00 TF lol.
