It truly is an amazing experience on so many levels; most notably for me is the art direction and freedom in combat. I am slowly but methodically clearing the map, now coming to the close of Act II, and I just don't want it to end. I definitely see myself playing through again on PS5 (hopefully with an enhanced patch and NG+).

All these "insiders" keep saying its close ,the boxes are close. I don't know what they define as "close". XSX & its showcase PC ain't at PS5 level. Based on UE5,HZD2,Ratchet. The XSX has had no answer to those showings..

With all this close talk, Ali salehi , bottlenecks, And heat/cooling being a factor for these boxes

I'll bet you that Xbox shutdown some CU's & the XSX is a 9TF/10TF box?

So, without clicking on this (I did for you):

Remains to be seen.

They can more easily make a sacrifice and get back profits from Game Pass than console sales than Sony can from that comparatively." - So, a Capcom insider knows the pricing plans. Neat! -Press X for doubt. Also, just to mention my opinion... I think Dusk might just be a fan of MS and XBOX. Just a suspicion.

In short, Dusk had one main point which should have been the focus if they wanted to be taken seriously.
The info about RE8. Since no one else is really claiming this sort of thing for the most part, let's just take this with a massive grain of salt and assume this is more the exception than the rule if true. Everything else is pure speculation and hardly worth any time at all. The title of the article is also pure XBOX fanperson clickbait BS.

Going by the track record of these FUDs, PS5 is gonna be cheaper than XsX.

Also, it seems sony is prepared for a big announcement soon. Usually these FUDs appear before Sony blows Microsoft with something.

Btw Xbox chaps, if you did not know,

Grim dawn will be on its way to the x box, probably this year.

I played it on pc, before my pc died, and I plowed over 1200 hours into over a number of years.

In my opinion, its one of the best action /loot game out there, miles better than diablo 3 and path of exile.

I think it is also going to come with 2 expansion as well.

It might not be the prettiest game in the world but its gameplay is second to none.
Loot is fantastic, classes, bosses varied, great skill trees, and tones of replayability. The world is huge. Rogue dungeons etc etc.

Some incredible secrets to find in-game as well.

As far as I know, it's not coming to ps4/5 SIGH, so kinda exclusive to box and pc atm.

A wonderful, wonderful game you should really try.
The developers are also super active always balancing and releasing updates.

+game is cheap, not in quality but in price.

Give it a go, if you get the chance.

Grim Dawn is overall my favorite ARPG (Diablo clone really.)

That's really interesting they are doing an Xbox release.. I wonder if it will offer a console specific control scheme that changes the gameplay a lot like DIablo 3 did.

Sounds like it can be tried on different difficulties. They also added tons of game mods like infinite ammo and one shot kill modes, pixel art, cell shaded, etc.

I do know they are doing a fully customizable controller set up, or are planning to for launch.

Before my pc died, I played the game with my controller on my big pc, there were some issues when it came to pet summoning but overall it worked well. out of my 1200 hours, 1000 of them were used with an xbox controller.

I'm an odd ARPG player in that I don't generally do the "grind a character for 100s of hours" thing.. I play a character until I get bored... then come back to the game later and do it again. I did that with Grim Dawn a couple months ago and had a blast seeing all that had changed.. and will probably check it out on Xbox as well as I want to support the dev, and my wife will probably love to play some co-op.

Based on my personal experience, no. Joystick aiming in BOTW, for example, is terrible and I can hit targets more accurately when I take advantage of the Joycon tech.

Gyro aiming is better than joystick aiming because the former uses similar principles to mouse aiming. When you aim with a mouse, you merely need to move it from one (x,y) coordinate to another (x,y) coordinate. Gyro aiming uses the same exact principle with the difference being that there is also a z coordinate, i.e. going from (x1,y1,z1) to (x2, y2, z2).

Aiming with the joystick factors in more variables. You have to tilt the stick in the correct direction. How much you tilt the stick will affect your accuracy. The duration of which you tilt the stick also plays a role. The margins of error of these 3 variables will compound which is why joystick aiming is less effective than gyro which only relies on 1 variable.

but Сapcom could use ray tracing features for a new resident :goog_unsure: Pragmata (- new capcom game on RE Engine) works with ray tracing
in this case - 1080/60 on PS5 are not surprising

I am just very surprised no one at box would have spoken about this, I have known about it for a couple of years now.
Its such an incredible title, yer its kinda indie, I suppose it does not get all the red carpet treatment because of this.

I googled and couldn't really find any info on it other than an interview from March of this year.

Is it actually coming soon?

The dev did make it sound like they chose Xbox just due to SDK's matching up, and not any sort of exclusivity deal... so I wonder if that's why there's not a lot of noise from Xbox about it.

This has just been posted on Crate’s Grim Dawn FB page

" A quick heads up on the Xbox Port, as that has been a topic of some discussion in the comments section of late.

As you may have guessed by it now being 2020, our original estimate of releasing the port in 2019 may have been a tad ambitious.

But the good news is: the Xbox port is 100% still coming and the extra time it’s had in development is only going to result in a better experience for you as all of the PC version’s major content updates will now be included right away!

In the process of working on certification requirements, we felt that additional optimization would ensure that the game you will be seeing on console will look and feel as awesome as it does on PC, without compromising on visuals and gameplay by removing objects from playable scenes.

The upside of going above and beyond on the engine work is that performance will be even better on both console and PC!

Stay tuned in the coming months as we approach the finish line and the Xbox port is in your hands!"

This was in January, so they still working hard on it, must be close, hopefully end of the year.
