Played Numblast for about 2 minutes, and I'm loving it. It's simple, but if you're a fan of Tetris Attacks, you'll probably enjoy this one. Instead of swapping blocks side ways, you rotate them in groups of fours. It feels remarkably similar though.

The numbers don't really matter as far as I can tell. It's just matching the 4 colors.

[edit] Nope, nevermind lol. The numbers match up in order for combo moves.

Do purchases made on PSM count as purchases made on the store? Honestly have no idea if thats the case or not.

Asking for the purposes of the spending $100 get $20 back deal going for October :/

If music and movies bought on the Sony Ent. Network count then I'm sure this counts as well.

I grabbed Fuel Tiracas (49¢, awesome price!), and it's very fun and instantly addictive! The graphics are bright and crisp on the Vita screen, and the music sounds great through headphones. It's already locked up on me twice, though.

Uses SEN wallet so should count :)
Was just going to ask this as well (since they don't show up on the PS3 download list), but they are shown on the Qriocity website, so I'd assume so. I know PS3 doesn't have PSM, but I figured It might show up in the download list like Vita/PSP/Mini's do.

how is Samurai Beatdown? worth the 99 cent-a-roos?

Ehh, I don't know. Nice crisp graphics and a nice concept, but just feels really easy, and plus you have to tap on either side of the screen to play the game when they EASILY could have just made it where you can tap down on the dpad and x instead. But they didn't.

the generic sounds in aqua kitty remind me of the fake games kids are playing on television shows. it looks interesting, just saying i might have to turn the sound off or turn it way up while acting like im really into getting the super high score

There's still things we need to know: is there a certain day new games/apps will go up, or will it just go up whenever they're ready to? Also, can games receive updates? These are crucial for me.

Fuel Tiracas, Beats Trellis, and Super Crate Box are fun. Not a big fan of Underline, Beats Slider, or Samurai Showdown.

Does it support custom soundtrack play? Do any of these games do that?

Thanks, I'm blind and didn't notice the icon on top till mentioned. Portable super crate box with real controls sounds like fun. Too bad mobile games can't have trophies yet.

Japan is up too, 27 apps/games. Haven't had time to compare the list yet, will do after lunch.

But check this one out -- it's called 'Merican Mail. As far as I gather, you pretend to send SMS messages in English as a way to increase your English skills. Yup.

And yes, we also got that one where the girl is in a skirt and you rub her legs.

Vita is saved!

Gonna need some screenshots and a video of it in action.

Uh, what happened to the PSone games that were in the app before (Android version).

Gone, but they are still in your download list if you bought any

Whoever was asking about Fuel Tiracas: All the levels are the same each time. So if you can memorize you will become godlike on the online leaderboards

Beats Trellis does support custom soundtrack. It's the only one I have right now, lol.

Got disconnected a while back just as I was editing the post but it isn't so much of a full song creator (unless you manually start and stop different pieces - simple touch to toggle) but more of a detailed loop creator, with a main board to start and stop them... not much in terms of a manual or guide but after a few minutes it is pretty easy to get to grips with it.

Not quite as easy as Sound Shapes so I haven't made anything that doesn't sound horrible yet..not all that difficult or complicated though!

For the other 3 people in the world with the play, I'm downloading PSM from this link

http://www.playstation.com/psm/store/en.html

Couldn't find it another way (no PS Store App)

Edit: Still no luck, unable to parse. Not savy enough to figure out what that quite means,

Thank you based Khold. I'll report back if it works. Also, nice OT, simple but effective.

EDIT: apks work but some reason it's showing me all the values in pounds.
EDIT2: nvm, it logged me to my euro account for some reason.

tbh it looks good but more like $2-2.50 worth..

Carl posted a link earlier, so you can see for yourself:

I guess this is what its like to be an iOS/Android gamer. Feels so weird to not buy a game just because its $1 more than what you're comfortable paying for it.

Haven't played it myself but it looks pretty cool. Wish there were more freemium (or glorified demos) versions for these games.

I'm still trying to climb the online scoreboards on Fuel Tiracas! I've managed to reach #2 on a couple of them, but Oyashrio-Sama has some really beastly times.

I'm starting to dread hearing one particular sound that the game makes. You know which one I mean. :)

Definitely feels that way due to iOS pricing but also...it's also free on steam apparently.

Lol, OSX too :

---it's good though, would be nice to have a portable copy
edit- and it is! Worth it I'd say, fun game.

Beat Slider isn't bad either. Everyone hates slide puzzles with a passion, so if you're one of those people, skip this game. That's all it is. The slide puzzles from KOTOR and countless other games. The twist is that you slide pieces into place that make very simple 1-3 second beats. For $0.79, easily worth it for me. I'm happy with all the purchases honestly.

Numblast is by far the best of the ones I tried.

Does anyone know if Ziggurat is supposed to come out on PS Mobile? I know Action Button was one of the developers listed when the service was announced.

I had my play rooted to remove pre-loaded applications but wasn't running any roms. Looking into it now. Not at all versed in this sort of thing.

If it helps my model is the R800a from Rogers (Canada).

Also with all of this Android & Vita shared accessibility, does anyone else think that Sony should just merge their gaming handhelds and their smartphones/tablets? Maybe keep a gaming only device but also have a Vita that runs Android and takes calls?

With the sdk, is it possible to devolop with just the vita in mind? Or must the game be made with at least some sort phone control.
In other words could you make a game that wouldnt really work with touch controls?

Nope. I'd like my dedicated gaming machine to not be compromised by having some cellphone crap.

Okay, I just compared. Japan got all 21 of the apps on the NA store, and 6 of their own (feel free to add this to the OP, if you want).

Eufloria (Pygmy Studio Co., Ltd) 850 yen -- Plant seeds and grow trees around central circular hubs while completing the missions. Looks like an artsy RTS-ish game.

Kaikan Ashitsubo Massage (Mobile Internet Technology Co., Ltd) 200 yen -- Massage the girls legs by touching the right spots to get them into sexy poses and hear their sexy voices!

Last Precious (eitarosoft) 300 yen -- Visual novel; the story of one young girl and four young boys.

'Merican Mail (Zener Net Works. Inc) 500 yen -- Improve your English skill by sending pretend text messages and reacting naturally to the conversation.

Nanpure 10000 (SUCCESS Corporation) 500 yen -- Sudoku with 2,000 boards and 5 difficulty levels for up to 10,000 total stages.

Shirokuro Gattsuri Tsukeru Kuma (BoobyTrap., Ltd) 375 yen -- If you are being indecisive, let the black and white bears help you make up your mind. Also includes minigames like rock paper scissors.
