Well, Haruhi is the main character in that she's the main "magical girlfriend" of the "harem".
Errr... the only thing that comes to mind is Princess Jellyfish, and that was fairly average and pandery in a different direction.

It's nice that the desert people are finally getting involved, but it's pretty damn frustrating when a single attack that took little effort is actually effective, yet Kumojacky STILL retreats. These people could kill the Precure in an instant if they ever decided to stop fuckin relying on mentally disturbed children.

yes. S1 is fun, S2...other than Endless Eight is ok. The movie is excellent.
Yeah, there's a few episodes that have totally forced reasons for the desert people to pull back at the last moment, but it gets a lot better in the second half.
You can see the exact moment when her heart dies.

That scene killed me the first time I watched it.
I can think of several narrators better than Kyon. Yuki is a bad excuse for a character no matter which way you look at it.

Yuki is the exposition machine in any science fiction show. The "problem" is that all the other characters, except maybe Koizumi, are kind of worthless, so she ends up being the best character of the bunch.
I'd be happy with Koizumi being the winning girlfriend, but that'll definitely never happen.
