I think this is pretty interesting, basically another look at the loketest that goes more indepth with certain things. The part that mainly caught my attention was it saying Bang was the best character and Rachel was the worst, the next test should be interesting to see what they changed from this, not to mention Hazama being in it.
Amazing collection of info here. I'm very happy with most of the changes with the exception of Bang having his overheads removed. The Guard Primer is a way more specific system that is easy to identify, and the Barrier bursts don't punish late or early bursting. It's actually better that they made it harder to reach DANGER level so that we can get some longer matches. I know you are happy with the changes.:lol
now for some thoughts...
Bang- It's a shame that I've lost my overheads, but I'm pretty happy overall. Faster startups, and anything standing B punishable leads to four seals combo are fanstatic additions. I LOVE that the nails are faster, and that the poison has more damage than before. I also like that he got a couple of specific improvements to deal with Noel. I'm also very curious to see this new anti-air distortion drive hit throw with modest damage since it's a new special move to mess with anyone trying to bring the rushdown to me.
Carl- He is shaping up quite nicely. A new projectile attack, and increased combo damage sounds just right. I also like that he has an untechable throw now. He is going to be a real challenge in the CS. I kind of wish that they would have doubled his Guard primer using Nirvana as a convenient excuse since his health will most likely still be lowest.
Iron Tager- He is going to be a serious threat to anyone, and everyone in the BB universe at this point. He is faster, has double the Guard primer of the next closest characters, and has faster start up times for some moves. More magnetizing opportunities including a zero damage magnetizing grab, and another drive attack making him the only character in the game with 5 drive attacks. Good stuff
Haku-Men- He sounds much more improved, but I do worry about the crazy combo damage he has thanks to ←C(3000pt!). The other changes like more frames on drive attacks, and less damage on knockbacks sound good though. I'll wait before I comment on the shield.
Jin
Ragna
Arakune
Noel
V-13: It seems like these characters have been scaled back a bit, and the first three have had some changes to force players to play in a more complex manner. Spamming moves with any of these seems to be discouraged with the new changes. Overall I don't see any gamebreaking changes with these guys.
Taokaka
Rachel
Litchi: It seems like the first two just haven't had as much work done yet, and they seem to be at a disadvantage now, with the exception of litchi who wasn't nerfed out of okizemi techniques as much as Rachel. I suppose we'll see more on these three in the next few tests.
Sorry for the long post, but this is short compared to the link's info.
