Monroeski said:Thinking of grabbing this in the next few days, but a quick question - if I'm going to be playing with a standard pad (don't play enough fighting games to justify a stick), should I go 360 or PS3?
And please, no "just buy a stick!" or "just buy a fightpad!" recommendations. I'm strictly asking about the two standard controllers.
Okay then, question 2 - should I use the sticks, or the d-pad? :lolLiK said:if you use the analog sticks, get the 360 version cuz the analog sticks are tighter. if you use D-pad, get the PS3 version.
it's obvious you'd be more comfortable with the D-Pad.Monroeski said:Okay then, question 2 - should I use the sticks, or the d-pad? :lol
Traditionally, I have always used the d-pad, but I haven't really played a fighter in a long time. Seems like the analog sticks would make some moves easier but also some a lot harder (have always had a little trouble performing a dragon punch with a stick, for instance).

If you play online with v-13, is it possible to finish a match without your opponent ragequitting?

Hakumen is frustrating but fun when you get inside and just rape people.

Thanks!Chorazin said:Weird question, but both discs are sealed inside the box that is sealed.
MarkMan said:So... game has been out for a little over a day now in North America, and almost a week in Asia/Japan.
How are you guys liking the game?
I've been finding myself playing more and more lately. I'm in training mode messing around with Arakune traps and trying to muscle memorize different instances to land Noel's bloom loop combos...
LiK said:which system are you playing it the most?
Eh? What day? I'm only going on Friday so that'll hopefully be the day... but you're right. The line is going to suck ass.MarkMan said:Also, who is going to Anime Expo?
Daisuke Ishiwatari and Toshimichi Mori are Guests of Honor. Anyone planning on going to get their copy of the game signed?
I'll be there, but eff a line. I'm getting my shit signed for sure though.

_dementia said:say MarkMan, why didn't Madcatz make an official LE BlazBlue stick?
you seem to be on good enough terms with Aksys... was it a licensing thing with Arc?
LOL! I've been pretty lucky that people have been good sports to my funnel spam on ranked last night. :lolThe End said:A Conundrum:

Some characters are easier to do air combos than others. Akraune, BANG, and Tager are mad good in the air.Kintaro said:I'm enjoying the game, but I never could get the hang of air combos and such. I still need to watch the tutorial DVD though.

Not niche enough for HoriLiK said:Blazblue might be too niche for them to get that license.

You guys (Madcatz) also have had quite the effect too, I'd say.But thanks to SFIV, fighting games are back.
Well, hopefully more people will be getting their nuts all up in a frenzy for Morning Musume instead. I checked the schedule and Daisuke Ishiwatari and Toshimichi Mori will be on at 10:30. I guess it's best to head to that spot when you arrive.MarkMan said:Yea! Screw the line. I'm driving up from San Diego on Friday and I'll be there with my daughter, I don't wanna put her through any crazy lines.
