I hate moves that go 623 or 421, not only do I have a tough time pulling them off, I am pretty sure on a normal 360 controller, its physically impossible.

Blazblue is so damn good. I wanna have sex with it. Unfortunatly the combo move to perform such a task is too DAMN HARD to perform on the 360 controller! Grrrrr...:lol

Great game though. Love it.

Yet another game that SCREAMS for the YouTube upload feature built into the firmware of the PS3. Awesome feature, totally underutilitzed.

Damn. I just miss beating the game on Hell difficulty. I can handle everyone until the very end.

Awesome game in every way. This is like the first Guilty Gear all over again.

So, quick question:

Does the Shoryuken.com strategy disk included with the game right now make this game any more accessible to newcomers?

I'm a SF guy but I really suck at SF. I'd love to get into this game since the button layout seems much simpler. Also, what sticks that you can get at EB right now are worth the money?

The disc is awesome, it has voice over on how to play each character correctly. Its like all the searching and reading I would normally do as a nub all in one place on cassette! lol

Well, I checked earlier and the guy at the local EB Games told me thatit did not show up today, and that it's not even on the shipment for tomorrow!? Then he asked me what "Blazblue" is as people have been calling all day looking for it :lol

He said it might just show up tomorrow, but I should not hold my breath.

Are the guides detailed as in they:

-Show commands and animations in addition to explaining when to use said technique?
-Cover special characteristics of the characters? (I heard one can control the wind direction?)

Or are they just command lists with no other information?

Just picked this up in Toronto at Game Centre.

BE WARNED: They are charging $79.99 for the PS3 version and only $69.99 for the 360 version. They didn't bother to tell me the PS3 price until after they processed my card. Wasn't too happy with the price but I really fucking wanted the game.

They claim it's due to the rarity of the PS3 version. I usually give them a lot of business and they've treated me well over the years but this was a low blow.

There were 4 people in line who all were picking it up for PS3 and all were shocked at the price.

i worked there for a few years. doubt the owner would overcharge. probably just had a higher cost of purchase for ps3 version.

Actually, they used those exact words oddly enough. Said, it was a higher cost of purchase due to the rarity. I'll take your word for it. Hey, I still went home with the game without complaining.

I just dropped $100 CAD on the MadCatz CE SFIV Arcade Stick.

Can I do any better for the money? Is this stick terrible? I read some reviews... but the buttons seem a little shoddy. And a Turbo button on the stick? WTF?

I'm going to wait to open it until I hear back from you, GAF.

Also, couldn't pick up BB since Canada Day bounced the shipping date to tomorrow for my EB, apparently.
