For low level playing, zoning with Hakumen is good enough since he does good damage even without combos.abstract alien said:Well, if anyone wants some free wins, Im jumping on right now. Im playing with Haku-men, completely cold. Just went to training for about 3 minutes :lol I still dont even know what all of the gauges do in this game :^/

Cool, thanks for the tip. I need to see what all of these normal attacks do now...Arde5643 said:For low level playing, zoning with Hakumen is good enough since he does good damage even without combos.
If you're used to zoning in SF4, that should help you a lot with Hakumen.

I completely forgot about the bluray :lol I should have popped it in long ago, thanks for reminding me.Dreavus said:Did you check out Hakumen's section on the bonus blu-ray? They go over every attack he has, as well as some strategies to aim for in a match. I haven't checked out Hakumen's videos specifically, but I found the "Strategies" section really helpful for other characters.

Carl Clover, I love you.
YES, another weapon lord fan!!! I really did enjoy the systems they had in play with that one, and the fatality mechanic is the best yet in a fighting game. Wonder if we will get another game that will allow you to cut a girl's hair off...DimmuBurgerKing said:KORR.. IS.. VICTORIOUS!
I seriously love WeaponLord! I still bring it out every now and then when my old friends come around. Now that was a barbarian setting done right.
I played a Carl last night; I took one round off of him, but for the last two he managed to get me into the clap trap. My poor Jin was all like, "Ow.. ow.. ow.. ow.." etc until death. Then I played him again and so wasn't falling for that shite a second time. >

Congrats on the victory over Carl "loopy" Clover though. Is there a video of it so I can see what it looks like? Kinda sucks that the loop is there, but no matter, you gave him the business

Yeah, you can definitely see why Carl rises up multiple tiers once you master his loop combo.abstract alien said:Wow. I mean, good lord...

P.S. It's text only.

I don't have a spare keyboard but I guess I can just use my PC's when trying to play BlazBlue.
Whats the deal with balancing patches for fighting games? Has any of the fighters this gen utilized a patch or had something similar? One look at that video should be enough to start a complete revolution in game balancing.Arde5643 said:Yeah, you can definitely see why Carl rises up multiple tiers once you master his loop combo.
Crazy thing is, because of the air throw, it resets the damage so the hits are always 100%. 0_o

I got up to Ragna and he owned my ass. I took out everyone else fairly easily but he just dominated me.ukiraros said:I did. Unfortunately my internet connection wasn't good so I couldn't upload my score online. At least I got the gold trophy and 2 trophies for beating Unlimited Ragna and Unlimited Rachel.
Are you serious!? :lolArde5643 said:You mean until now you haven't seen videos of Arakune and Nu-13 combos? :lol
Those are far more retarded than Carl's broken loop.
