I'm having the same issue with him except I'm at 97% :(
I followed the Dustloop thread and I was sure I've won and lost everything, but I guess I'll return to it and troubleshoot.

Did you try losing?

I know with Noel you're supposed to lose to Tager

Also, DD'ing everyone opens stuff up too.

Awesome, I'll be adding you guys. I just picked the game up and I'm still pretty terrible, but hell, what way to learn than getting my ass kicked by the best! :lol

I'll be on later today to play on PS3. Work is almost done! :D Gives me time to work on my offensive approach with Taokaka because of how her defense barrier goes down so damn quick. Have to keep the pressure with her. Jin on the other hand...blah. I got good ground game but I'll be damned if I can't complete any of the air combos.

Why not? Nu in melee is the best place you want her and Ragna has good melee. That's where you want to keep Nu. Up in your face at all the times and you'll win mostly all of your matches against her.

Are there any PS3 players here that have access to a computer with a mic (for Ventrilo) while they play? It'd be a lot more fun if we could be chatting it up while we play some matches.

Can't get anywhere close. All I got is the 214B and the follow up, but if that doesn't hit I'm screwed.

Or you could just use headsets connected to the PS3...am I missing something here?

Poor quality, only able to use them in the room (no party chat on PS3), need to organize matches through GAF before playing.

Just putting it out there.

Jump in and block the airblade, then airdash+attack. That will get you in nicely. Otherwise, jump, wait, airdash. It's all about tricking the oponent.

2 days until I can see for myself how hard it will be to use all that in person :D

Well, look up some other matches. Youtube has a lot of them. And he did take off 2 solid rounds.
*note: didn't watch the last match :lol
*sidenote: Nu is 6-4 vs most people. That means you ought to win 4 out of 10 matches. Thinking that it's hopeless won't get you anywhere. Don't forget to barrier guard in air.

Woo, finally got my copy. I can't wait to get home from work and start playing. I'll even get a few days of practice in before I get online hooked up in my new place. I might actually provide a respectable challenge to the PS3 players here.

I'm anything but a beast lol. I've never played guilty gear before and I've played BB for like 2 days. I'm still coming to grips with the mechanics of the game/series.

Yep my most hated thing about Blazblue is the different terminology this game gets from other fighting games..

GG and BB have similar terms so I guess it makes sense for that audience but man I can't get use this this 234B and shit like that.. haha.

Who are you playing in BB, Turtle?

I'm looking at Bang due to his mix-ups, but he doesn't seem as quick as I wanted.

Another one I'm thinking of is Jin due to his nice mix of pressure and run-away game.

:lol that reminds me, yesterday when me and Teknopathetic had a smooth match and went back to the lobby and started chatting, you all were still spectating it, that was just great. :lol

Crazy spec lag, but that's ok :p

His Drive is really awesome, but my only complaint is that it's a little slow for the block effect to kick in so it's easily countered... and it seems like the only way to get in a good combo is to go in the air... which is way too frikken hard for me to even attempt :lol

I was not too sure about BlazBlue, but after playing the arcade machine in Anime Expo, I was sold on it.

It was a pity that when I came back, I found that the game was not so easy to be found.
