It's D while pressing A+B+C repeatedly. You only really have to press D once.Papercuts said:Is there a way to do Tager's Astral(A+B+C and D repeatedly) without barrier bursting? I must be doing it wrong because I can only pull it off if I already have my guard broken.
Kreed said:I just recently completed the story mode (trying to finish all the single player aspects before jumping into the online/multiplayer components) and I'm still a bit confused about the story, mainly thetime loop. Is the entire world of BlazBlue in a time loop or just Jin/Ragna/Noel/Nu? And is there any explanation for where Nu (V-13)/Noel (V-12) came from/why Saya was cloned in the first place? Or are these mysteries for the sequel?

Ferrio- what about Nu?
High combo damage, easier combo game, 6C and 2C are worth a damn,
and that vortex thing that keeps people in place!!! lol
FindMyFarms said:Dude what are you doing. I think Tek's Nu is more than enough, no need for more swords.
EraldoCoil said:Sword spam FTL, we need more Tagers, hey ferrio, pick up Tager!!

I took another look at the bonus disk packaging for the 360 version last night and I was wrong. It's actually clear, not green like the regular 360 box or black like the one showed in the promo image.TheExodu5 said:Ah my bad. Guess the promo images are off.
The PS3 one looks spot on.
Rumored sequel/update as soon as this October for arcadesNemesis556 said:Kinda random question, but are there plans for a sequel or downloadable content?
Do Tager's 2D followed immediately by his A+B+C+D(spam). Whether the enemy blocks the 2D or not, you'll be close enough to him and he'll be magnetized, making it nearly impossible to avoid. I think the only way to disrupt the Astral at that point is with a lucky jab. Just make sure you do the A+B+C immediately after the 2D. Wait too long and the A+B+C will count as a Rapid Cancel, and you'll lose half your Heat gauge.Papercuts said:Is there a way to do Tager's Astral(A+B+C and D repeatedly) without barrier bursting? When fighting Bang, Taokaka, and Litchi, finish all 3 with and without Distortion Drives. Each victory has a different ending scene.NameGenerated said:So I just went through Noel's story mode for the past hour and a half-ish using this FAQ.....I ended with 98% and I don't know why. Drame said:I'm absolutely in love with this game.
For the record, I have never really played fighting games seriously nor actively.
BlazBlue made me interested in the genre once again, and now I have huge backlog of fighters to play with my friends :lol. Also bought a TE stick, just because of this game and now I enjoy it even more. I might suck, but I'm having the time of my life.
I was just wondering, what do you get for 100% every characters story. Right now I have 100% every character except Ragna, Hakumen and V-13. Do you get more of those special interviews or something else?

It's done by holding A+B+C, then hitting D repeatedly (I believe four times). The easiest ways to combo this are after a Spark Volt, if you hit A+B+C in the startup animation (before the bolt touches them), it won't do a rapid cancel. There's a couple other ways to combo it, but I genuinely forgot what they are since.Papercuts said:Is there a way to do Tager's Astral(A+B+C and D repeatedly) without barrier bursting? Can the PSP can basically work as a second controller with this method? I'd like to try this novelty.JohngPR said:I'm fairly sure there will be DLC in the future. The game says that it checks for it everytime you start it up (at least it does on PS3).
I had the weirdest gaming experience yesterday. I played BlazBlue online using PSP Remote Play. LOL
Coolest part was that it worked fairly well.

I always try everyone then go back and single out one player to become my main. Once I feel comfortable with them, I pick a sub and stop there.Bootaaay said:My copy finally arrived today and i'm having a ton of fun, although most of the characters are quite baffling - so far the only characters that have really 'clicked' with me have been Jin & Litchi, and of the two I think I really prefer Litchi - took her online for a couple of battles, entered a player lobby with a group of Japanese guys, got my ass handed to me by a freaking awesome Tager before managing to finish off an Arakune with Litchi's All Green distortion in close-fought match - really can't wait to put some quality time into understanding the characters as my biggest problem is not knowing what to expect from each character. Would it be best to just concentrate on Litchi, or should I try and focus on more than one character?
I keep it to concentrating on 2-3 characters...but I haven't at all because Litchi is too awesome.Bootaaay said:Would it be best to just concentrate on Litchi, or should I try and focus on more than one character?
Its not that hard to pick up at all. Especially compared to SFIV.Kuugrr said:I'm kind of curious about this game, but I'm not entirely clear on how difficult it is to pick up on it. How is it for someone with decent experience with other fighters?
Easy to learn; hard to master.Kuugrr said:I'm kind of curious about this game, but I'm not entirely clear on how difficult it is to pick up on it. How is it for someone with decent experience with other fighters?

Moving from an "advanced beginner" to "online player with a positive ratio" is a (enjoyable) hill to climb though.

Let's try it out!Spirit Icana said:I manage to get the 360 headseat yesterday, which is earlier than expected. I have no idea how to use it though. I played with it a bit and I can't hear anyone or say anything online. Hmm....
Just pick a character you think looks interesting. You may suck at first, but then you'll want to learn their ins-and-outs by going into training And then when you go online, you'll learn from other players.Kuugrr said:That's perfect. Is there any particular character that's easy to start with?

Jin or Noel are pretty good for beginners.Kuugrr said:Wow, really? I thought the consensus was that SFIV was really easy to get into. If BB is even more beginner friendly, then I think I might at least try it.

I play as Jin. He's straight forward and plays similar to Ryu.
