The only reason Sony is doing this is because Xbox has imploded. Nobody has asked for this. If they are going to remaster games, at least remaster something from the PS2 generation like Jak and Dexter. Probably be too much effort

We some clarification if this a REMASTER or a REMAKE.

Days Gone would greatly benefit from being remade, there a many issues with Days Gone that if solved, could make it absolutely amazing.

It's barely 5 years old. It got a major PS5 graphics enhancement patch. It was given away as part of the PS+ Collection to all PS5 owners for the first two and a half years of the PS5's life cycle.

How many more shots does it need?

Adding DualSense support, a fresh coat of paint, and some texture or RT upgrades then inevitably charging full price for it isn't going to magically make people go "oh shit, I never thought about that game".

Days Gone looks fantastic and plays like a dream on PC. It seems like such a pointless remaster, and it'll be so dumb if it actually costs money to upgrade, but I'm glad to see the IP's not totally dead.

Just depends on what these even are. I fully expect Horizon 1 to be graphically upgraded to at least part 2's standard if not more. For how mediocre that series is, it will at least push things graphically I'm sure. But yeah, it's a pretty close call.

Honestly all I can imagine.

Game looks absolutely mindblowing already on a PS5, remarkably consistent and above many open worlds released this gen, and not only with a great IQ and 60fps but with improved settings over PS4 version as well.
It's already a Remaster. If anything, bring back the screen space GI from the PC version on Pro and release it on disc.
