Been that way almost from the beginning. I still remember that xbox360 announcement where they kept talking up "skatergurl" or whatever being able to sell in-game skins. Who cares about that? They've always injected pointless syngery efforts into xbox instead of just focusing on gamers.I feel like they don't understand their player base at all. They want to appeal to a more casual market, but even they're not interested in wearing an Xbox or playing Xbox games on their toaster.
