I think he's talking about the unhappy 50 series GPU customers.what are you talking about? what narrative?
What's new in this, it's a state of PC gaming for ages?I’m guessing because PC parts have become overpriced and some games have poor PC port.
Again when it comes to PC gaming I have no clue, I’m just going by GAF saying prices gone very high when comes GPU.What's new in this, it's a state of PC gaming for ages?
"For nothing" Asking for $700 without a disc drive had nothing to do with it. No, sir.Because a moment ago 700$, 50% faster ps5 pro was attacked for nothing while now new cards come out, 15% faster for ungodly amounts of money.
It’s just nvidia giving a bad rep
Whatever. Is a fair price for 50% and pssr. Sometimes 30 to 60fps.Because the RTX 50 series is awful.
I hope this translates to a tangible loss of sales for NVIDIA so they can stop the perpetual price hike. x60 cards still stuck with 8GB with 15% gen-on-gen improvements is unacceptable.
AMD GPUs have been well received. It remains to be seen if the stocks and MSRP will hold up.

You’re the same guy who says PC gamers should upgrade their rigs and that the dirt-looking graphics of MH Wilds justify the laughable hardware demands.Whatever. Is a fair price for 50% and pssr. Sometimes 30 to 60fps.
The disc drive issue is really so fucking overblown. Is still cheap if you add disc drive. It’s basically inflation price of base ps5 from 2020.
If it was 1000 it would still be fine looking at prices of these graphics cards.
Well they hate to earn something aside from inflation. You’re the same guy who says PC gamers should upgrade their rigs and that the dirt-looking graphics of MH Wilds justify the ridiculous hardware demands.
Your idea of what constitutes a fair price is ridiculous.
And no, inflation doesn’t take you from $400 to $700 in 4 years
This was kind of a fair point, until the Chinese market showed that people started buying a PS5 Pro over upgrading their PCs."For nothing" Asking for $700 without a disc drive had nothing to do with it. No, sir.
When did it show that? This was kind of a fair point, until the Chinese market showed that people started buying a PS5 Pro over upgrading their PCs.
Then knock down $80-$100 if you’re going to sell me a premium system without a disc drive.Edit:
Also the recent data from UK that showed 71% of games bought in 2024 was digital.
We had a thread about it here on gaf about 2 weeks or so ago. When did it show that?
Maybe you're not the target audience? Then knock down $80-$100 if you’re going to sell me a premium system without a disc drive.
not THAT nice. The game looks ok, good even. But it's not worth the system specs. It's not a very well put together game in that aspect. Capcom's past games looked better and ran better so why is it all of a sudden that Wilds requires the most beefy PC on the planet to run at decent settings?Mh graphics are nice.
For many people who don't even consider AMD an option (ffs there are people still buying & defending Intel CPUs for gaming in 2025... that should say everything) 'attacking' Nvidia is considered an 'attack' on PC gaming.it is completely true that the 5000 series is a shit generation so far. Pointing out Nvidias greed and other issues with the new cards is not attacking PC gaming.
Everything posted on Gaf is true.We had a thread about it here on gaf about 2 weeks or so ago.
Maybe I am?Maybe you're not the target audience?
It's been discussed in here, although it was about PS5 in general (not PS5 Pro specifically as I incorrectly remembered:Everything posted on Gaf is true.
Thought so.It's been discussed in here, although it was about PS5 in general (not PS5 Pro specifically as I incorrectly remembered:
Not the point I was making. Consoles have always been a good and cheap solution to game. They’re not an alternative to PC gaming, more like the other way around. They’re the dedicated gaming device, not PCs.Idc what you believe though. Consoles are a good alternative to PC gaming in this economy, whether PC gamers want to hear it or not.

Thought what? It doesn't exclude PS5 Pro.Thought so.
It's all relative and subjective, though. That's the point I'm making. Not the point I was making. Consoles have always been a good and cheap solution to game. They’re not an alternative to PC gaming, more like the other way around. They’re the dedicated gaming device, not PCs.
The point I was making was that the people’s grievances over the PS5 Pro weren’t for nothing. They’re were legitimate. Just because NVIDIA decided to shit on their customers doesn’t suddenly make them less valid, especially considering the outrageous prices are for a completely different class of GPUs.
let's see the availability of the cards in 3 hours. Yes they are primed to resurge interest but if there's no stock there's no chance.I think AMD just saved PC gaming.
Just like it will save console gaming in 2026 when next gen Xbox will release.

Because so called pc-gaming is collapsing!
No wonder Valve are desperately moving their business to consoles!
