Let's grab one of the most beloved and respected studios in the world that made three incredible and insanely popular single player Batman games and force them to spend TEN YEARS making a Live Service co-op looter-shooter featuring a bunch of characters literally nobody in the world cares about.

Everyone who thought this was a good idea should be fired and banned from the industry for life. Fuck WB Games.

Too bad, an IP you *could* get a great game out of if you just made some tweaks to the Rocksteady Batman games with a classic Stronk Wahmen character no one would bat an eyelash at and they've squandered it.

I've wanted this for decades now. It'd have been an amazing fighting game IP too. Go full-on silver age with Bizarro Legion, the Super Hero Club House, Revolt of the Super Pets, and make Infectious Lass playable. LSH could have been an absolute goldmine but DC keeps fucking it up over and over. It's my absolute favorite comic of all time, and it makes me *angry* how they've screwed up.

Only a decade ago WB Games were ones that sneak in and became my favorite publishers.
Mortal kombat X and 11, 2 Mordor games, Excellent Arkham Knight sequel, VR game, Harry Potter games...and all were well received.

Who asked for a Wonder Woman game?

I would buy it day1. Remember Me, Mad Max, 4 Arkham Games, 2 Mordor Games all carrying Arkham-esque combat and I loved them.
Imagine same Arkham combat but with special powers (the thing WW does creating shockwave with her bracelets etc) with a non-dark beautiful setting with a mix of high fantasy and myth. I am not sure how this wouldn't have been a success.

Hell Harley has her own TV show on its fourth season with multiple squad members featuring.

Peacemaker an otherwise unknown character is actually known by many of the genre and even he got his own show.

Bros this industry is in shambles. No really. Everywhere you look, layoffs, games delayed and overbudgeted to the point where theres no way they will make a profit.

People dont know how to make good games anymore, and they dont know how to lead teams that make them. And thats not even getting into the agenda pushing. They dont even know how to optimize them anymore, they barely look better than shit from the start of PS4 (The Order 1886 or Batman Arkham Knight for example) but they require 5 times the power to have a playable fps.

Hogwarts Legacy has been about the only thing they did right, but they'll probably find a way to fuck up the sequel too.

I get there are costs and it's been in development for a few years, but 100mil already and years away from releasing rasies questions. What will the final figure be? 200mil?

There are AAA games that have been made this generation that didn't cost this much.

IMO a Wonder Woman game having her fight mythical beasts and gods while exploring the island of Themyscira and some neighboring islands actually sounds lit. Mix in some nemesis system, and you've got a pretty god tier game.

I'm convinced that anyone who thinks she shouldn't have a game just don't really know about the character. Her game would be cooler than the majority of those you listed.
